"When we arrived, there were dirty towels in the bathroom that were still wet. Lots of ants in the bathroom and room. Checkin took way too long. The previous owners and staff seemed genuinely super happy and were friendly all the time. Not the case any more. I felt like the interactions were a hassle and interrupted their day. When I asked for the room to be tidied up and towels changed, the front desk young woman said “oh, the housekeeper was just here” and pointed for me to chase her down....
"It was a typical roadside motel. If you are in need of a place to stay for a a night or two or are traveling light this place is what you want. If you are looking for a hotel experience. Don't stay here. The room was clean it was easy to get and out of. There was rarely a staff member at the desk but was quick to answer when called and to show up if needed. The only issue we had, and it is minor, was there was no secondary interior lock."
