"Location is ideal. Room was mostly as advertised. No info about how to operate the TV or the wi fi password in the room. Communication w proprietor was not great. Bathroom had no shower curtain. Beds comfy. Heating worked great. Didn’t try the AC. Frig clean and functional. Nice budget stay for an overnight en route to Mackinac Island. "

"We only needed a clean, comfortable place to rest while driving a long ways and this definitely fit the bill! There is a lot of potential and an outdoor light is needed for late arrivals but very easy and fit our purposes perfectly!"

"This was our second stay at this property. It is so cozy and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Close to Mackinaw City and Douglas Lake. Paradise Lake provides a peaceful setting to enjoy sunsets. Well equipped with thoughtful details. Great bed and pillows. A gem. "

"We enjoyed the quiet and played games and did a puzzle. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and attending Alpenfrost in Gaylord. Also, we loved having burgers at Talley's in Lewiston at the advice of our host! "

"After reading the reviews I was a little worried on booking, but I was like hey everyone has a different experience. The house was very clean! Our favorite view was from the backyard/sunroom. Nothing beats that beautiful view! The only thing bad that I have to say is if you like a little night pizza to snack on bring your own pizza cutter! But otherwise our stay was wonderful. The host communicated back with us in a timely manner. I would definitely stay at this location again. "

"The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay."

"We had a wonderful time. The space in every room was excellent. Loved that each floor had its own AC and water heaters. Would definitely stay again. Great location to the beach and right across the street is a fabulous restaurant, ice cream shop, and convenience store. "

"This home is nicely decorated, clean, and conveniently located in town. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and owners went far above with the extra touches. A lot of thought went into making sure renters have a super experience. We didn't have children with us, but kids could be entertained in the house even on a rainy day. Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard while we relaxed by the fire pit. "

"We will definitely be staying there again! Staff is very friendly. The cabins are definitely older & they are in process of updating them. The 2 suggestions we have is to include in their resort details that the cabin rentals do not include towels- currently that is not stipulated. (It says towels included). Also to instruct the staff on appleTV. This system is very new to all of them and us & could not get our TV to work. We were ok with that because we spent more time outside but some guests...

"Great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. Right on the lake and fairly secluded. Clean and everything seemed new. I only a couple minor concerns.1. Google maps takes you to the wrong sode of the road. This is not the owners fault but I think an issue woth google maps location.2. Llighting in the house was limited to eaither super bright or no lights. This is more of a personnel prfrnace, I like lights then can make a room dimmer in the evenings. But if thats not your thing, then...

"Very clean and extremely convenient to all attractions, restaurants and breweries. Walking distance to 75% of Main Street attractions and ferry. Nice clean kitchen and bathrooms. Very quiet at night. Steep staircase to second floor not for handicap on second floor but convenient bedroom and full bathroom on first floor. Very detailed instructions. Thank you for everything and very highly recommended. "
