"We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. "We have just spent an amazing 5 nights here with friends ageing from 48 - 72 and a 14 year old. Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed. "The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent."

"This was a beautiful house to stay in. Very homey, clean and spacious. The jacuzzi was a great touch. I would definitely book again but with others next time. It was a little pricey and big for me, husband and two under 2. I Would for sure recommend for 6-8 people. "

"This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

Great hotel with the best rooftop bar!
"Hotel La Tour is a lovely hotel and probably one of the best ones in Milton Keynes. The rooms are big with good comfort, and the view is incredible. We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice too see a refill of the coffee/tea stand after a couple of nights. We were slightly unlucky with a couple of things during our stay: 1. The fire alarm went off at like 3.30 AM. It turned out to be a false alarm which was good but evacuation in the middle of the night is never fun. 2. We extended our check-out time with a couple of hours via the front desk but it hadn’t been communicated properly internally, so they called and asked why we hadn’t checked out. Slightly annoying as it’s a service we paid for and would have like the privacy and non-disturbance in those couple of hours. Overall a nice stay and if you go, you have to get a drink at their rooftop bar - incredible drinks and snacks!"
