"We only needed a place to spend the night as we were visiting family in the area. Shower pressure was surprisingly amazing! Breakfast was included which was a nice bonus- I appreciated the variety of yogurt flavors & the apples were wrapped, making them ideal to take for later. Staff was friendly!"

"We love staying at the Clinton Inn primarily for its location. The lake-front lawn, with lounge chairs facing the water, is magical as the sun sets over the nuclear tower to the west, and herons, egrets, and gulls soar back and forth, along with the activity of marine traffic. "The property was in a perfect location for what we needed. Right across the street from Lake Erie, and Jolly Roger's. We could see the lake from our room. The second floor is stairs only, but wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. It was perfectly fine for what we needed. There was cereal, donuts, bagels, muffins, different toasts, peanut butter, jelly, waffles, yogurt, granola, cinnamon, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, eggs, and sausage. I even made some bougie toast...

"The pool area was terrific the only problem is that once 9:00 came they shut off all the lights around the pool and walkways. Then they put on these terrible red lights you couldn't see where you were walking to save your life. A couple times the security guards was walking around helping people with a flashlight so they can see where they were walking. I know they blamed it on the mayflies but they were gone I didn't see one when I was there last week"

"Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. The location is our favorite , especially being close to the freeway, for any emergency exits .The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and the lake view is amazing! If you’re like us and like nice things , this location is the place to be ....

"Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it."

"Our room had mold. The elevator was out of order, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. No help from management. Breakfast had no hot food only muffins and donuts and cereal. No parking at all. Even for our golf cart."

"Overall the trip was fun but room was gross. Blankets were extremely old and smelly. Shower curtain needed to be changed. There was a bad storm before we came which resulted in dead birds scattered In front of our room. They were there for the entirety of our stay. One was still alive we took care of it. Front desk was aware."

"My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. "This condo was at a perfect location! Close to all bars/restaurants. The bar/restaurant at the condo was really convenient. The staff were amazing!"

"The location was great! Private beach was very nice. The office closes at 8:00 and that is where the ice machine is located, so no ice after 8. Could have been a bit cleaner, but overall, a great place to stay."
