"Nice hotel in great location with the beach just opposite and a 10 min walk to Tynemouth center :) Service in bar / restaurant were perfect - but there finding a healthy breakfast option is close to impossible. I’m keeping low on kolesterol - but thats hard with that breakfast. So had a plain youghurt and nothing else. Perhaps a porridge would be an easy, healthy and cheap solution? Waiters were kind & attentive :)"

"Great location however the house was not clean on arrival despite owner stating it had been cleaned. I needed to clean sour milk which was throughout the fridge. There was lots of mould and damp spots in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Water was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen and damaged our food.Owner advised he was trying to patch up the kitchen roof.Unable to use shower as this also leaked into kicheb. "We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run. The staff were so helpful polite and attentive. The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet.
