"There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean.

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not...
"We love the Peninsula in general but this time the concierge failed BIG TIME.
Being from Europe and happen to be in the US in the 4th of July , we asked for a restaurant/ vennue where ofc we would be able to see fireworks.. we where booked at a restaurant where not one single piece of firework was visible throughout the whole night .
This was the ONLY criteria for the conceirce to take care of and it was a TOTAL failure.. had we had a good dinner that could have made up for some of the failure...
