"It’s exactly what we expected. It’s an old place and you can tell. That’s what gives its charm. We were there for the 4th of July. We got to watch the free concert in the park from our balcony. Everything in the square is walking distance. The only negative I would give, is I wish the back door had blinds. Since it’s next to the street, even with my eyes closed I could see headlights driving by. But I am also a very light sleeper. My husband went right to sleep. "

We received our room number and access code the day before, so we knew exactly where to go. "As soon as you walk in the reception area, it smells fresh and clean.The room was nicely made. My family and I had a beautiful view and could see a mountain. The bathroom door would not open all the way which made it a bit inconvenient. But, the hotel is quiet and safe and in a nice area.The pool was really cold since it's an indoor pool, so we couldn't enjoy it. But, we would definitely stay at this hotel again if we return to Helen."

After doing more research on the building’s history - I was happy to see that they’ve done their best to keep the historical integrity of the building intact.
