"A Perfect Introduction to Sri Lankan Hospitality
Our stay at Wilpattu Tree House was nothing short of amazing and served as a perfect introduction to the warm and thoughtful hospitality of Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made sure every detail was taken care of, creating an experience that was both comfortable and memorable.

"På ingen måder pengene værd. “Luksusteltet” var. Meget slidt, der lugtede meget grimt. Der kom en tynd stråle koldt vand ud af bruseren, ingen toiletartikler. Maden var det kedeligste vi har fået på alle 3 uger. Vi så en elefant, et par vandbøfler og en ugle på en 7-timers Safari. (I Yale nationalpark så vi Bjørn, 2 leoparder, elefanter, masser af vandbøfler og en krokodille på 3 timer)

"Hôtel bien placé pour safari à Wilpatu, le safari était super avec un guide très attentif et qui a su nous montrer beaucoup d animaux et oiseaux en prenant bien le temps. Une coupure de courant le soir, le personnel a tout fait pour rétablir au plus vite. Le gérant de l hôtel propose ses services de chauffeur pour des prix correct, très arrangeant. "
"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "
"Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner.
This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it."
"The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. "
