"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...

The family who runs it are super lovely, the breakfast was fantastic and the room had the best view.
Its such a good choice. We choose to stay one night of our stay in the area at an expensive hotel on the lake will it was lovely we do wish we had spent another night at Mothers Home and saved our money."

"My bus arrived early in the morning, around 5:00am. The staff answered the door of the hotel quickly and let me check in early. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. I also rented a bike from the hotel for only 2,000 kyat per day."

"I cannot explain enough what an AMAZING experience it was to stay here! The hotel is beautiful and the manager was beyond any expectations!! They prepared a delicious breakfast for us (even when it was not included), took care of every detail to make our stay memorable!

"Spent 2 days at Inle Lake. Arrived late and was greeted personaly by the hostes. The hotel is very small only 11 cabins, which give a cosy feeling. The hotel is located very close to the center of town, which give easy access to markeds, restaurant and wellness. A good tip is to do your laundry service here, very cheap."

Our group arrived quite early and the manager allowed us to check in early and even gave us breakfast that morning. Accommodated every request as the hotel was not busy. Manager was quite friendly and hands on. The rest of the hotel staff were also genuinely nice and caring. My only regret is we should have stayed here longer....

The hotel manager was super friendly and organised all our trips (boot trip, airport transfers, bicycle tour). Also we were test costumers for the new bar open soon. All drinks were super delicious! The only issue I would point out is that I arranged for a day trip through the hotel to go to a very historic pagoda. The female staff member told the driver to go to a totally different location than I wanted. This happen once then I thought it would be corrected but she did it again and again I finally said enough and left. This was a small issue as I was able to find a substitute...
