Looking for rest, respite, disconnect, memories, good times, and instagram worthy moments? This one of a kind custom home has it all.
The home sits atop a knoll offering picturesque views in every direction. From looking out over the expansive panoramic mountain views, to watching the reflections glistening over the wild life pond. This property is special every season of the year.
Tastefully furnished, entertainment in all the right places, while offering a number of quiet cozy spaces to curl up with a good book. This property really lets your group stretch out.

Enter the home through the grand entrance that is the castle inspired brick turret spanning the entire height of the property. The grand two story great room offers 180 degree mountain views centered by a brick fireplace surrounded by all the comfy seating, plush chairs, bean bags, sofas.
The well stocked kitchen, with 6 person breakfast table, flows into the formal dinning room, all while providing the opportunity to spot wildlife looking out towards the pond.
This main level also features the master suite overlooking the forest beyond the property.

The second level boasts 4 bedrooms, including the turret bunk room, and a dual vanity bathroom with steam shower and a large soaking tub, all accompanied by a loft living room with smart TV.

The lower level, is where the fun begins. Theres something for everyone. In the mood for games? Play some 8 ball in the billiards room with sweeping views adjacent the turret bar. Play a round of virtual golf on Golden Tee Arcade. Or sneak back to the arcade cave for some shuffle puck, foosball, or pac man. Looking to chill? Sprawl out on the massive sectional or huge bean bag in the Media room to catch the game or a movie. Or, take a dip in the hot tub to really jump start the R&R you desperately need.

Great for family get together

We wanted a place to spend time with the family. There was room to spread out and places to be together. The groundhogs were very entertaining. Swimming by the covered bridge was nice. Not much happening in mid-June in Bethel.

Birthday celebrations

We Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Mansion! It had plenty of room for all of us. We celebrated three grandsons birthdays (2, 4, 6 & a half birthday 4.5 and the Grandma) . The game rooms were so much fun! The house was well equipped with everything you need. Beds comfy, bathrooms with showers AMAZING!! Nice area out back to play. Saw a mama groundhog and 7 baby ones. Three turkeys snd lots of beautiful butterflies. Definitely would book again!

Outstanding location close to hiking, golf, fishing, etc. Nice private setting with plenty of space for a big group to spread out. Lots of fun games and activities on site. Great amenities and excellent communication throughout the process.

Great Family Weekend

We rented this property for the long Memorial Day weekend for our young adult children, their significant others, and our parents (9 of us in total). We hadn’t been to Newry previously and found that there was plenty to do locally for a 4 day stay. The weather was rainy for the first two days and there was plenty to do in the house itself for us to still enjoy our time. The game room, jacuzzi, and bar area created a lot of fun family time. The house was spacious enough that all could have their own space. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware. The house was outfitted with awesome speakers, and the furniture, pillows and heavy blankets were incredibly comfortable. Lots of nature and cool breweries locally. Overall, fantastic stay!

Good getaway

The house was AMAZING! Had a wonderful time We had a pretty big group and the house was comfortable enough for all of us including kids and a dog. Did not feel crowded at all. Hosts were wonderful, very accommodating with late check out and asking if we need anything. The views from the house are spectacular, you dont need to go out at all honestly, you would have a good time just enjoying the house amenities and the views, def worth the drive from NY

Simply amazing

We had a brilliant stay at the mansion. The views are gorgeous and the garden is supernice to play games in which are all there (croquet, cornhole etc). Inside the house is very well done and when with a bigger group everyone can still do their own thing. Play games and watch tv downstairs, use the living room and kitchen on the first floor and sleep and relax on the second floor. Can absolutely recommend

Everything we wanted

The house was fantastic for hosting a weekend get together with cooking, fires, lawn games, and plenty of indoor entertainment. The kitchen is incredibly well outfitted with a large variety of high quality cookware including a large cast iron collection, plenty of pots and pans, and a few heavy ceramic pots which worked great for a slow cooking some pork. The property is maintained incredibly well and it was a pleasure spending time outside or inside during our stay. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a house that can be the focus of weekend, as well as anyone going up to newry for the mountains and nature. The hosts were very communicative and provided everything we needed and requests ahead of our stay. No complaints whatsoever, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Tough Mountain

This was a truly beautiful property even more amazing upon arrival. We drove 6 hrs to get there when we arrived we were a 1/2 or so early. Kirk the property manager and his crew were finishing off there preparation for our stay. He informed us a nearby lake to visit and an great restaurant called Ebinezers. I’m not sure if we were supposed but my daughters paddle-boarded the pond and had a blast. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to rent a mansion. Its well worth it

What a great place for our annual New England vacation

My family vacations every year with 2 other families - six adults + 6 kids (ages 9-16) - and this house fit all of us very comfortably. The house was beautiful and well maintained, was a short drive to great hikes and swimming holes, and communications with the owner/manager were quick and easy. Two minor negatives - the WiFi signal was pretty weak and did not cover the entire house. Also, there were no air conditioning units in the upstairs bedrooms so it got pretty warm up there at night. All things considered, it was a great place and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a place to stay.
