Made for active beach holidays, the bay draws families, couples, and surf enthusiasts with 2 miles of open sand and reliable Atlantic swell rolling in from the west. A sports school on the beach runs lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and kite surfing, making the most of the bay's wide exposure to incoming ocean swell. The South West Coast Path follows the clifftop above, with routes connecting Newquay's seven bays in one direction and the village of Mawgan Porth in the other, both well worth the walk. Music festivals and surf competitions add to the energy of the beachfront through the year, with restaurants and bars spread along the shore below.


The open-plan living space connects the sitting area, dining area, and kitchen in a single flowing layout, with doors opening onto the south-facing balcony and views out to sea. Two large leather sofas face the TV, with a small coffee table between them, and a wooden dining table seats four beside the kitchen. In the master bedroom, a super-king-size zip-and-link bed faces out to sea (can be configured as two singles), with a wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps completing the room. Its en-suite shower room has a shower, heated towel rail, and WC. Sea views fill the second bedroom too, where a chalet-style bunk bed has a full-size double on the base and a full-size single on top, alongside a chest of drawers and lamp. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, heated towel rail, and WC.


A furnished decked balcony extends from the living space, with sea views along the coast. Lift access serves all floors of the building. A surf shower, shared with other residents in the development, is available for rinsing off after the beach, and secure storage in the basement keeps surfboards, wetsuits, and beach equipment safe. Designated parking is provided for one car.
