"Butternut Cabin was an absolute gem for a couples getaway. The house was spotlessly clean and felt thoughtfully put together from the moment we walked in. The custom kitchen was a highlight—beautifully done and well-equipped. "This wonderful little gem is at the top of the mountain. It’s a great ride up the road to the top of the mountain. The view was wonderful. The house was really a perfect size for just the two of us. It was well stocked with what we needed or wanted. The nice thing was that the owners were right next-door in their house if we needed anything they would’ve come over in a moment. I would highly recommend working with this owner or renting this cabin."

"We loved the peaceful sound of the creek. Such a relaxing spot. Close to town but without traffic. We even got to watch a fawn running around and playing in the creek. We look forward to returning soon."

"This home is a great place to stay. Peaceful and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains."

"The location is super convenient for anyone visiting banner elk or the surrounding area!"

"By far the easiest check-in process we've had in our travels so far. The house was super clean and packed to the brim with all of the essentials you could need. The house is located very conveniently to town and the property provides ample room for walking your pets. We are planning on coming back for another stay soon since our weekend weather was on the soggy side."

"Family friendly, enough space for a good size family or with friends for a weekend getaway. Very great location, close to ski resorts and restaurants. Hot tub was a great touch to the property, didn’t see anyone else with one, from a glance."
