Go out the front door and you are at the beach and next to Brighton Pier - go out the back door and you are in "The Lanes" where there are a lot of specialty shops and restaurants. Convenient parking below the hotel. Highly recommend for a stay in Brighton."

"We stayed at the Maldron Hotel in July 2025 for three nights and, unfortunately, feel compelled to leave this review due to several issues that affected our stay. Check-in Experience and Parking Confusion. From the outset, the check-in process was problematic. We asked the receptionist several times for help with parking, but he was unsure which parking garage the hotel had an agreement with and had to call around to find a promotion code. He appeared generally confused, which led to us parking in the wrong garage and incurring a charge of £86 for three days — an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided with proper guidance. We were assigned a family room for two adults and two children, but it was clearly too small to accommodate four beds. There was virtually no floor space, and we found ourselves crawling over luggage and beds to move around. While we do not expect spacious accommodations for four people in a single room, it would have been helpful to know in advance that space would be this restricted. In addition, the room was not properly prepared for four guests — only three sets of towels were provided. We had to go to reception to request the missing set, which took several hours and follow-ups before it was finally delivered. One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the condition of the room. It was clearly not properly cleaned — we’ve attached photos that speak for themselves."

"Udemærket hotel med nem adgang til by, promenade og restauranter. Vi have enetale for lidt større værelser og de var fine, med flot havudsigt. Stedet virkede dog lidt nedslidt og restauranten var lukket for renovering. Det stod også et mærkelig skilt på døren med at stedet var blevet overtaget af nogle andre. Lidt underligt. Personalet var søde og det var rart med 24 timers reception og rengøring hver dag. Morgenmaden kunne have været god, men betjeningen var virkelig sløv og langsom, og de var slet ikke klar til kl.8, til trods for en ret simpel menu, hvor det eneste der skulle laves var grillede brød med ost og skinke, og så kaffen. Det blev nærmest en konkurrence om at få noget når det var færdigt, og det var ikke en god måde at starte dagen på"

"Had a nice stay at the Metropol in Brighton. Family of 4 on sixth floor with sea view. It isn’t advertised but the pool is not to be used by kids before 9am and after 6pm so watch that. The windows were droughty and couldn’t be fully closed tightly. In the last night a strong wind was pounding the windows all night and blew cold wind into the room which wasn’t great. Also being a sea view there is also the main road just down below. Motorbike have a habit of racing off the traffic lights! The fam loved the buffet breakfast and tbh it was better than that offered by the Grand in Brighton :-) Bed was comfortable although a little hard and the bathroom sink had a crack in it though completely usable. Would we stay there again? Probably as it was pretty good value for Brighton "

"Hotellet ligger kun en kort gåtur fra stationen og dermed meget centralt ift the Laines, shoppingcentret m.m. To små supermarkeder lige i nærheden. 10 min gang fra strand og pier. Meget imødekommende personale. Jeg prøvede ikke maden. Der var æidt støj fra gaden ud på aften/nat, men det var ikke slemt."
