Hoteller i Newchurch and Merthyr

"I was very happy with our stay at Spilman hotel. We were running a bit late, but we call the hotel, and explain our situation. The very friendly Lady who answered the phone, insured that all was waiting for us. We manage to arrive before closing hours. I got a nice cold Guinness before bar closed. Breakfast was very good. Everything was good. I will return next time I visit Carmighten."

"Hotel under standard . Klart det dårligste på denne tur. Meget smal seng, meget gadestøj Restauranten var lukket hver søndag fik vi at vide da vi stod der.. trods det modsatte oplyst på hotels.com Morgenmad var ok"

"The room we were given, was very hard to access to. We had to go up some stairs, for again to go down. The fire doors were very heavy. Our room smell of very old carpet. There were hulls in the curtain. Future more the room was extremely cold. I had to buy a heater in Tesco. "

"The room was clean and spacious, with an extra bed provided. The toilet was also clean. However, the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay, and the bedside lamps were not in working condition. Apart from these issues, it was a nice and comfortable stay overall."

"We enjoyed our stay , the room was nice clean and basic location brilliant onsite site parking, breakfast very nice one down fall we had a low floor room road side very noisy and other guests were very noise passing our room"

"Lovely room, very spacious and cosy"

"Dejlig oplevelse"

"Virkelig skønt sted med fantastiske værter"

"We chose this hotel because we were planning to attend an event at a nearby beach. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to bad weather, which was very disappointing. However, staying at this hotel turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a comfortable and welcoming place. The staff were incredibly friendly, almost as if we had known them for years, but never in an intrusive way. They had just the right balance of warmth and friendliness that made us feel completely...

"I stayed 4 nights to go to the Welsh National Eisteddfod. The room was comfortable and the breakfsst good. They provided vegan sausages and oat milk with no problem. On site parking was free. Staff were very pleasant. There was no other meal service than breakfast and only a limited bar service (which I didn’t use) but there is a pub very nearby that serves meals and also a few other eating places."

"Enjoyed a quiet night above the pub. Food available in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff at check in and out. Plentiful parking available. Good location in South Wales."

"A very well maintained place and Jayne is lovely"

"It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay."

"Great place to stay with excellent food."

"We had 4 nights in the hotel. Had some fantastic days in the hills. Had our breakfast and evening meals at the hotel and everything was high quality "

"Det er en restaurant med værelser og de forventer at man spiser der men det er ret dyrt. 1000 kr for 3 personer for 1 hovedret og drikkevarer hvor af den ene drak postevand der var gratis :-) Men området er helt fantastisk og ejerne er i mødekommendende og hjælpende."
