Private studio apartment with 1 car garage parking space

An expansive guest apartment above the garage seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Relax on a private deck in the whispering canopy of the woods or explore walking paths on 7 acres of private property. Designed as an open concept space, to bring the beauty of the outside in with rich sage walls, deep hardwood-style floors, and wide sliding glass doors that open to your own private deck. Wind down in a cozy private space after breathtaking hikes, summer activities on Lake Sunapee or Mount Sunapee Resort, such as swimming, ziplining, mountain biking as well as winter activities on legendary Mount Sunapee trails. Stay in and enjoy board games, watch tv or relax on the private deck. For foodies, check out the local sweet beet market place and newbury deli.

The private apartment can sleep up to four people with a king bed and queen sleeper couch. Pets are not allowed. The full bathroom has a shower, washer and dryer. Kitchen is equipped with induction stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle and blender but there is no dishwasher. The private deck has 4 chairs to enjoy morning coffee, soak in the sun during the day or enjoy the starlit sky.

There is no cell phone signal at the property but we have wifi. We will provide the access code in advance so you can get connected as soon as you get to the property. Keypad entry code to the main door will also be provided pre-arrival.

Please enter the property through the second entrance (next to the post box) and park your car outside or inside the first garage, right next to the steps. Please avoid driving the car on the property past the garage and towards the main house. Please carry your personal items up the steps to the main door accessible by keypad. You have to climb about 12 steps to get to the main entrance. There is another set of stairs in the back that we would not recommend using at all during the stay because the backyard is not groomed.

The parking space inside the garage is about 20ft long and 8ft wide. The garage door 1 can be opened or closed using the remote present inside the studio by pressing the large button (or I), or by pressing the button next to the door on the inside of the garage, which can be accessed using the side door under the open shed. Please do not remove the garage remote from the apartment. It is hung on the rack next to the oven in the kitchen.

For excess trash, please use the garbage can inside the garage. Please do not leave any trash outside at any time.

Other details to note:

The other two garage spaces outside or inside the garage are reserved for the owners. If you need additional parking, please feel free to use the open space next to the post box.

No lighted candles with real flame inside the apartment.

The property is on a septic and please take note of the necessary precautions to maintain the health of the system.

The area is buggy so please bring mosquito and tick repellent.

No firearms allowed on the property.
