The Space:

Welcoming and tastefully designed, this suite is a cozy retreat perfect for those who crave immediate access to beautiful waterfront views. While we maintain our properties with care, we advise those seeking perfection or high-maintenance services to look elsewhere. Appreciate staying in our stylish suite, only steps from numerous attractions including:



Seasonal Dining: The Jetty diner/campground store across the street.



Outdoor Activities: Pickleball Courts (4 rackets available in garage!) (2 min drive/6 min bike) Newaygo State Park, Dragon Trail, Hardy Dam (10 min drive), and ORV Trails (15 min drive).



Local Favorites: Hit the Road Joe - a local favorite for pizza and breakfast.



Recreational Facilities: 4 kayaks, bikes, yard games, pickleball rackets/balls and air hockey available in shared spaces.



-Note also that this is a resort with 4 separate buildings being rented however there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the grounds, reference overhead photos if you have questions on layout.

-The property is also located on a busier road which does cause some daytime noise however the suite does sit furthest away from the road.

Guests have access to all common areas; driveway area, yard around unit, boardwalk/dock area, kayaks, bikes, air hockey, corn hole, ladder ball, 4 pickleball rackets/balls, and garage area.

-There is a $15 charge per person per night over two guests to cover additional cleaning and laundry expenses. This is why we ask for an accurate number of guests and is automatically included in your price.



Interaction with Guests:

The owners will always be a text or call away if any issues arise however our desire is to give each guest privacy and space to enjoy themselves within the confines of the house rules.

Great stay in Newaygo

The "suite" cabin is the perfect place to stay at if you're traveling to the Newaygo area. I slept amazing every night, everything inside seems to be brand new so there were no issues with lights or AC, etc. The back patio view of the lake was amazing and plenty of things to do. I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice place on the Croton Pond

This is a nice place to stay. We really enjoyed everything about it. Any questions we had were promptly answered, and the hosts were very kind and friendly. Would recommend and will be going back in different seasons.

Peace By The River

From the moment I walked into the place I felt at peace. It was quiet, very clean, The bed was the most comfortable ever and I have to find out where the pillows came from because they were sososo comfortable. Great communication with the host. I didn’t get to enjoy the outside like I probably would have if it hadn’t rained, but it was still beautiful as ever. There was a Genes grocery store very nice people. The Trading post was very nice, as well as the people. I just came to relax an walk the Dragon Trail. I can’t wait to visit again.

Alpine stay

Everything was great. Very clean. Kayaks were fun. Very comfortable stay. Hosts are very quick to respond to questions. Wish one bundle of firewood would have been complimentary. Complete with friendly cat neighbor. Enjoyed the use of bicycles and other amenities.

Stress free weekend getaway

The cottage was great, very comfy and clean. Had everything you really could need. My only complaint would be the lake…not that anyone can do anything about it and very typical of most inland Michigan lakes, lots of weeds, not crystal clear water. The Muskegon river nearby is fantastic though!!! We will be back!!!

Great waterfront suite!

What drew my husband and I to this resort was that the cottage/suite was located on the Muskegon river. What wonderful view from inside the cottage! There was a very nice patio and an area with a firepit. The nicely decorated cottage was very clean with a spacious, well stocked kitchen. We had one day out of our three day vacation in which the weather wasn't favorable, but there is a supply of games and plenty to watch on TV. The property does have several bicycles in which we made use of. There is some traffic noise being you are close to the main road, but it was no problem for us. The owners are only a phone call away with any questions or concerns. We felt very comfortable here and totally enjoyed our stay! We definitely would book again! Thank you!

Clean Clean!!! But traffic a bit noisy for my liking.

My husband and I planned a 3 night stay to unwind and relax from a very busy year. Upon entry the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. It was absolutely spotless and this was definitely appreciated. It also had all the basic necessities you would expect and the view of the lake was very nice. However, it was not as quiet as we had hoped due to it being so close to a heavily trafficked road. The traffic did die down at night but during the daytime when we wanted to enjoy the lakeview and some conversation from the patio, there were several times we couldn't hear one another over the loud motorcycle engines. But all things considered, it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful Waterfront Cottage

We enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view of the water. The Cottage was perfect for our stay with many little extras provided. Everything close by for dinning & entertainment. Hope to return when weather is warmer for some fun in the sun & fishing. The host did a great job communicating with us & making sure we had everything we needed for stay!

Clean, comfortable, spacious getaway

Great location on the water with tons of activities on site and nearby. We rode bikes provided and had a great time. Wonderful, super clean suite with a nice hot shower, coffee maker, stove, full fridge and king bed. This place was easily better than any hotel we could've stayed at, more thoughtful items included like shampoo and extra towels. The ONLY negatives were not having anything but a local store nearby, ( which was incredibly expensive) and the amount of people who wandered by the door while we were relaxing inside. We actually had one guy knock looking for the owners for some reason. Other than this, magnificent relaxing stay.

A great stay on a fantastic Pond Lake

We brought our wave runners and Croton Pond Lake is a perfect size. Big enough to open them up, small enough to not have excessive traffic. The unit was exactly as advertised and Brandon is super responsive. We met some great neighbors and ate way too much ice cream across the road at the Jetty (so good). Bed was comfy, Unit was clean. Sunrises and sunsets were great. Warning: no marina on the lake, so bring gas cans! On our would return list for sure!

Great activities & communication

I really appreciated the great communication with the property manager. Our family loved the docks for fishing, kayaks, bikes and games on site! We enjoyed being across the street from the beach & ice cream shop. Didn’t love the busy road & traffic noise.

Relaxing Anniversary get-away

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Brandon is great with communication! The suite was very clean and nicely stocked with the basics. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the view was amazing! Also, it has nice patio/firepit/grill area overlooking the lake and beautiful new waterfront deck/dock area with kayaks, which we enjoyed using a couple of times while there. Across the street from the resort is a cute little ice cream shop called the Jetty that also has cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches.

The Suite

This property was a perfect stay for us. Very clean, well kept, and in a perfect spot. We stayed in The Suite which was perfect. The property is as advertised with plenty activities to do. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water, kayaking with the kayaks that were provided. The boardwalk was a beautiful spot to catch some sunshine and just relax. The owners were very responsive during our stay with any questions we had. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Brandon and family!
