Staff new very little english, tv didn't work, bed was broke, no cups in room, no coffee pot, bathroom door didn't shut all the way closed, no breakfast, lake view room overlooks a beautiful swamp. It was hard to complain to management cause of language barrier. Good thing we only stayed one night.

Hello Melinda! Sorry to hear few things which did not went well. The TV is working fine and door is working fine and waters will be at the wending machine. we have breakfast but it was opened at 7AM in the morning. The helper is new but if would have checked with front desk it would have much appreciated.Anyways we take you complaint but make sure it wont be the same next time.Hope to see you next time and thanks for staying with us.

Could use some updates and a good cleaning. The price for the room is way too high for what you get. This is maybe a $75 a night hotel.

Property is very old and the photos shown on this site are nothing like what is there. The pool had bugs in it. There was no breakfast- coffee and juice only. Sheets are so old they are not even white anymore. Staff was nice and hospitable. But this place needs major upgrades and cleaning. Will not stay again.

Well. Old and I mean old. Room smelled . They appear to rent “long term”. No Kleenex or hangers . Very terrible lobby area. Needs a good cleaning and update . $240 for 2 nights ridiculous considering the condition of the building and rooms . Pool area not nice at all . 😯

The people working the front desk did not communicate with us at all. Instead, they just sat on their phones or didn’t say a word who is the most disgusting hotel and breakfast area that I have ever been in and we did not feel safe there at all.

Dirty , unsafe, not clean hotel
we planned a family vacation at this hotel. the hot tub jets did not work and there is mold around the tub, the pool is 75 degrees, per desk staff, too cold for swimming or fun for the kids and there was blood on the deck of the pool. The rooms were dirty, hair in the beds, bathrooms unclean , carpet soggy wet, smelly. After being there for 1 hour, we left and went to another hotel. Will NEVER stay here again. So disappointed as we were so looking forward to this get away with family and friends.

Run down, dirty hotel
Door would not open with key, she had to manually unlock it each time. Including shortly after midnight. Room was not vacuumed, sheets were stained, shower was dirty and had a cockroach coming out of the drain. The door was missing half the locking latch. The front door said it locks after 11pm, I got in without my key after midnight. I would not stay here again.

Definitely needs TLC! . Stains on floor in room,hair and soap scum in Jacuzzi (not ours), Jacuzzi needs to be plugged in and unplugged (not real safe) button for jets missing, water fill very slow and leaked out almost as fast. Bed very uncomfortable. Little patio off room was nice..

There is a serious mold issue in that building Hot tub out of service Patio door to my room was unlocked at checkin Once I secured the patio door and verified it was Locked I was able to simply pick up just a little and open the patio door with the lock still engaged

The whole property smelled moldy and musty like wet towels. The smell was so bad my clothes still smell moldy even after I washed them. This place is not worth the $160 a night they charged. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

A little upkeep would go a long way in making the property look better for guests. Rooms were dated but clean, bathroom was fine other than the shortest smallest toilet from the 70s. The frayed towels should have been replaced years ago, but they were clean. Was glad the sliding glass door worked so we could get some fresh air into the room, but we had to clear out spider webs to exit the door. There was a large vent on the outside wall to what we thought was the pool area on one side of our patio that was totally rusted through and staining the siding heavily. We never went into the pool area so can't comment on that. We were just looking for a place to sleep for a couple nights and didn't expect much and that's pretty much what we got. Not complaining, just explaining.

Taylors falls staycation
My wife and I were going to Taylors falls for a day trip and chose to stay close to the area. This hotel popped up and was reasonably priced, so I booked it as the places to stay were narrowing quickly. Our overall stay was great. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had a leak in the bathroom on our last night. We reported it immediately and the desk person offered towels and a bucket. Needless to say, I was furious at the lack of concern or compassion and was told that they were aware of the situation. I decided to take photos for my protection and in doing so, noticed other conditions that I was not aware existed. I talked to the desk person in the morning before checking out and this person exhibited more concern and urgency. She took my complaint and viewed the photos and also informed me they were aware and this has happened in the past. She gave me the manager direct number to call and follow up. I spoke to the manager the next day when I was home and explained the conditions. Let the manager know that I had photos and concerns abot a few conditions that needed to be rectified for the next guests so that they do not have that experience and was told that they have a n investigation and will resolve. I told them I would need compensation and she fairly compensated me for one night stay. I thought this was fair since our stay was great in lieu of the incident. I pray that they took my recommendations seriously to help their establishment give the best to future patrons.

Unfortunately the property has run its course , we rented the honeymoon sweet and there was a black cloth over a chair in the room ( seat cover ) when we pulled it up , well it was beat up and gross . The air conditioner was rattling and we decided not to stay ( the lake view is a swamp with a camera facing the window,!!! We asked for our money back and they wouldn't refund us , and we didn't stay!! Here are pics and a video

The cafe was just across the parking lot, but the menu that the hotel had in the room was OLD and had incorrect prices. Our main attraction was the low price and THE HOT TUB and pool. BUT, the hot tub was out of service (for approximately 15 days already). The pool was very cold. The breakfast only was until 9am and didn't have much on it. We had reserved a 2nd floor balcony, but were given a patio on the main lever, which worked out great for us since we walked across the parking lot to the cafe. We moved our table and chairs from the patio to the lawn for some great sunshine.

Easy to get to off highway. Clean comfy bed but rest of room was dirty. Floors not vacummed and shower curtain gross. Needs major update, carpet, and paint. No breakfast at 6 when they said there was supposed to be. We had to leave and nothing was put out by 6:30.

For a budget hotel this place was perfect. It was cozy, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was clean. What more could you ask for for the price? In addition a nice complementary breakfast and a very kind and welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

Skip it! Check in - we waited 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Called the number “they were in the restroom”. Rooms were dirty, there were crumbs between the sheets which were stained. Bed spread also stained. A bar of soap and shampoo bottle for showering. Two towels. Missing fire alarm, walls, bed and flooring all scratched up. Bathroom floor was dirty. The room ac wasn’t working properly and covered in dust inside the venting. Breakfast was a few donuts from a gas station thrown out. Pool closed at 9, hot tub out of order.

Hotel Stay on July 21, 2023
The front entrance had a bad smell and the the chlorine smell from the pool was overpowering while checking in at the front desk. Our room smelled of a very strong bleach smell and I asked if there were any other rooms available after we came back from eating and they sprayed some frabreeze which helped but it was still faint. The towels were low quality. The breakfast was disappointing but thankful they had something.

Booked a deluxe king room with patio. There is no such room. Room had a small bed. Room was non refundable. They told me to take it up with orbitz. Staff was wonderful but hotel needs work and updates. Smells musty. We were in town for a wedding and didn’t have time to spend hours on the phone.

Loved it! We are on a long road trip and staff was very accommodating and friendly! The room was perfect for our needs and very clean! We slept soundly and were never disturbed! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a safe, clean and quiet place to rest from your travels!😊

The TV did not work in the first room we were given - plus the room had not been properly cleaned. The mirror in the living room even had splatter marks on it. The second room was much better; however, it had not been vacuumed.
