This was the most odd hotel experience I’ve ever had. First, I requested an early check in, which was denied. No problem, it was a few hours before check in. Upon arriving the room that was supposedly being cleaned (hence the early check in denial), was clearly never cleaned, unmade bed, trash. Made my way back down to the virtual concierge, where I was given a different room and code. This room was at 87 degrees by the thermostat, though clean enough. It appeared the AC was broken and maintenance would not be available for days? I was confused by this. Was given a different room to try after being told I would potentially need to be at another location. I specifically picked this property for its proximity to the conference center, so that was not an option for me. Third room would not open per the code provided. At this point going back and forth to the lobby, trying to text/call felt extremely ineffective and frankly, irritating. Eventually, the fourth room I was given to try was at a normal temperature and clean enough. Although I stayed for the duration of my reservation, I discovered some unpleasant, but tolerable, quirks. One sink did not drain properly, one bed had gross stains in the comforter, and the other bed had an alarming habit of dropping bed frame supports at every move. Almost everyone I encountered in the elevator (which did not have any recent inspections posted-scary) felt we were on a hidden camera show. Choose your own adventure…at your peril I suppose.
