The Space:

You hear the soft rustle of leaves and feel the quiet of the Shenandoah Valley settle around you, inviting slow breakfasts and evenings spent soaking in the hot tub under a sky full of stars. The cabin’s wooden walls and open living space feel like a warm embrace after a day of exploring nearby trails and historic towns.



Sleeping arrangements

Golden Woods sleeps up to 9 guests across three bedrooms. The main cabin offers a king bed in one bedroom and a queen over queen bunk bed in the second. The detached ADU provides a private queen bed and a twin bed, plus a half bath for added convenience.



Kitchen & dining

A fully stocked kitchen lets you prepare hearty meals, from winter‑time oatmeal to summer‑fresh salads. The adjacent dining area flows into the living room, making it easy to share meals, board games, or late‑night conversations while the fire pit crackles outside.



Outdoor living

Step onto the deck and you’re surrounded by towering trees. The year‑round hot tub offers a soothing contrast to crisp air, and the fire pit with surrounding seating creates a natural gathering spot. A grill and outdoor seating let you dine al fresco, while string lights add a soft glow after sunset. Parking is available on the property.



Comfort & essentials

Heating and air conditioning keep the interior comfortable in any weather. Bathroom essentials, fresh linens, and a Smart TV with sound system provide modern convenience. Board games, books, toys, and kid‑friendly touches make the cabin welcoming for families. Safety features include smoke alarms, a carbon monoxide alarm, a fire extinguisher, and a first‑aid kit.



Pet Policy

We’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!



Longer Stays

For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.



The wooded setting means you may notice leaves, pollen, or other natural elements despite regular cleaning. Wi‑Fi is provided, though service can be slower or spotty because of the remote mountain location—downloading needed content in advance is recommended.
