Though you may not want to leave this secluded oasis with all its thoughtful amenities and beautiful views, a quick drive takes you to Canyon Lake, Whitewater Amphitheater, Gruene, The Gorge, Overlook Park and hiking/walking trails, the Guadalupe River, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and outdoor recreation and just over an hour to Fredericksburg for wineries and shopping.

Catch some rays on a lounge chair, take in the views from the deck, take a dip in the pool, or simply enjoy a quiet evening as the sun sets over the hills below.

For a date night, venture into nearby downtown Canyon Lake and dine at one of the many acclaimed restaurants or prepare dinner at home for a more laid-back evening. After a fun day of fishing on nearby waters, toss your catch of the day on the grill for a fresh-caught delicious dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked and provides all the conveniences needed to make your stay comfortable. After dinner, mix up your favorite beverage and end your day relaxing on the adorable double rocking chair made for two.

If you are looking for year-round outdoor Hill Country fun, Hannock Trail is only minutes away. Enjoy a beach area, swimming, and nature trails. Overlook Park is a short drive with great views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam. Rent a pontoon boat or jet ski on Canyon Lake for a fun day out on mesmerizing blue water. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, for live music and dancing and dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. For small-town charm, drive to Wimberley and visit the darling shops and restaurants of Wimberley Square. Outdoorsmen will enjoy Jacob’s Well and Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and hiking or Zip Line Adventure for an unforgettable experience. Only a twenty minute drive away, there is much to do in New Braunfels!
