Situated between 2nd & 3rd crossing on River Road, Palisade is located at `Fernweh Riverfront` - the latest rental offering to hit River Road. Formerly known as `Billy Goat`s Gruff,` the entire property is under new ownership & eager to welcome our valued guests. Access to the amenities at our sister property, Fernweh Hillside, is available for all guests. Located just across River Road, Fernweh Hillside is a collection of white cottages behind the former Koozie’s.
Parking for Palisade (1 space) is located and identified in the driveway, to the left as you enter the gate, and immediately in front of the stairs leading to the apartment. The driveway parking is shared with the main house, and we ask that our valued guests park with courtesy and care.
Fernweh Riverfront is home to 6 private rentals onsite and all available amenities are shared, including riverfront access.
We kindly ask all guests to be mindful of water usage during your stay. Please minimize water use and do not use outdoor hoses or spigots. Your efforts to conserve water in this environmentally sensitive area (Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone) are greatly appreciated.
Wi-Fi is available but not guaranteed, and the signal may weaken in certain areas of the property —be prepared to unplug!

GRILLING: We are located in a drought prone area and burn bans for Comal County can come and go frequently. To remain safe, please use the provided charcoal grill with the cover secured while prepping and cooking. Cooled ashes should be disposed in the provided ash bucket.
TRASH: Please utilize the outdoor trash cans to collect all trash during your stay, and please take your bagged trash to the brown dumpster at the property entrance gate at the end of your stay. Additional trash bags may be picked up on the weekends from the staff at Billy Goat`s during the summertime.
