"Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!"

"Location: We came to Blacksburg for the VT Hokie Focus. Staying close to campus was important for our family of five. This home was about 15 minutes away driving to Burrus hall, close but not walking distance. The location of the home is a bit off the beaten path, not far but not really that close to downtown or the school. Cleanliness: This was a major disappointment, we were told we could not check-in early because they were thoroughly cleaning the house to ensure a great stay. Which I...

"We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
