    "Mein Fleckchen Rügen" is a holiday complex of 4 terraced houses in a quiet village location. Each house has its own entrance on the terrace side and from there a wonderful wide view over the 13600 square metre property, which is partly park-like and partly agricultural land. The shared occupancy of several houses is suitable for groups or befriended families who prefer their own area despite holidaying together. (e.g. 2 houses for the price of one large one...) Because the landscape around Neuenkirchen is particularly idyllic, all seasons of the popular ZDF series "HALLO ROBBIE !" were filmed here for 9 years. Embedded between beautiful nature reserves, Neuenkirchen is an ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes through the unique lagoon landscape, as well as to the most beautiful sandy beaches, which are just a short drive away. Tourist highlights such as the World Heritage Site and Hanseatic city of Stralsund, the Jasmund with its fantastic chalk cliffs, one of Europe's largest sea theatre stages in Ralswieck and, last but not least, day trips to the island of Hiddensee or Cape Arkona are just a few minutes' drive away. There's just one thing you won't find in Neuenkirchen: seaside resort hustle and bustle à la Binz and Co. And the fact that you don't have to pay an expensive visitor's tax in Neuenkirchen shouldn't bother anyone either ;-)

    The holiday home is about 61m² in size and has 2 floors. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, one with a double bed and travel cot and one with two single beds (some of which can be converted into extra beds). The ground floor is characterised by its historic timber beams. The open-plan living area with sofa bed (extra bed for a 5th person, flat-screen TV, WiFi), dining area (6 people) and open-plan kitchen (hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster) looks really spacious thanks to the large window front facing the garden. The bathroom/WC with shower cabin has a window facing the street. Bed linen (charged per person/stay) and/or towels (charged per person/stay) can be booked in addition. The costs are to be paid directly to the landlord. The terrace is equipped with weatherproof garden furniture (cushions on the upper floor). Each flat has its own free car park in front of the house. In the bicycle room, which is available to all guests, not only bicycles can be locked, but also other garden furniture can be borrowed, as well as children's high chairs and lots of toys. Please note the minimum booking of 5 nights in the high season. Gap bookings of 2 nights or more are possible on request.

    The extensive grounds include a playground with a slide, swings, playhouses and a large play area. Plenty of space for sunbathing or relaxing with a good book. The large, partially covered barbecue area is available to all guests and not only offers protection from a shower, but you also have a view of your children playing - and in the evening the golden sunset over the hill of Moritzhagen.

    In the summer months there has been an increase in the number of mosquitoes for several years. This affects the entire Baltic Sea region including the Baltic States. Fischland/Darß, Rügen and Usedom are also affected. Mosquito repellents are therefore sold out in many shops/pharmacies during the high season. Please remember to buy some at home. However, our houses have permanently installed mosquito screens.

    If you don't want to cook for yourself, the excellent cuisine (Mediterranean-influenced, German) of the "Wirtshaus Neuenkirchen" also provides culinary relaxation. For your daily needs, shopping in the grocery shop (bread rolls except Sunday) diagonally opposite is like travelling back in time to an ideal world. Both are about 50 metres away. The best place to buy delicious steaks is the "Wild und Rind" farm shop at the beginning of the village street. Also within walking distance is the small, pretty sandy beach for splashing around or cooling off in the Lebbiner Bodden in the evening, approx. 20 minutes directly on the former backdrop of the seal station from the popular TV series "Hallo Robbie". You are unlikely to see seals here, but you will find clean lagoon water as, depending on the weather, a strong current of water circulates between the Baltic Sea and the lagoon. The local peak of Neuenkirchen is "Hoch Hilgor". The walk is approx. 25 minutes from the holiday resort. From the observation tower you have a fantastic panoramic view of the island and, on a clear day, as far as Denmark to Møns Klint; the island of Hiddensee - Schaprode ferry harbour approx. 20 minutes by car; the pretty island capital and shopping town of Bergen also approx. 20 minutes by car; Tromper Wiek with kilometres of sandy beaches via Wittower ferry as well as Cape Arkona 35-45 minutes by car depending on the ferry connection; Binz approx. 30-40 minutes by car depending on traffic, Stralsund approx. 40 minutes by car, Gingst approx. 15 minutes by car.

Wir haben uns in dem Objekt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ruhe war besonders gut, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Zum Glück haben die Fenster Insektenschutzgitter. Im Garten gibt es am Abend eine extreme Mückenplage, da war kein Aufenthalt draußen möglich. Nur zur Tür kamen ein paar wenige Mücken rein. Leider war der Lebensmittelladen im Ort die ganze Zeit geschlossen, kein Hinweis auf Urlaub oder andere Gründe. Aber darauf hat ja der Vermieter keinen Einfluss.
