    Detached holiday home, situated in Obertoggenburg at 1050 m above sea level, in the midst of the most beautiful and unspoilt nature. Direct view of the Säntis (2,502 metres above sea level) with the Alpstein mountains and parts of the Churfirsten! Ideal starting point for wonderful spring, summer and autumn hikes in the Alpstein region!

    As the local owners of this unique property, an original Toggenburg farmhouse with huge grounds and woodland, we have paid great attention to the finest, original renovations with great attention to detail.

    Complete renovation and insulation of the roof in 2024, new windows in spring 2025.

    The former embroidery room has been transformed into a spacious, bright parlour with original tiled stove and large slate table. The smaller Toggenburger Stube, with its centuries-old tiled stove, is just as cosy and homely. The stoves are heated exclusively with wood from our own forest.
    The spacious and family-friendly bedrooms on the 1st floor are also ideal for 2 families with children, for example!
    A wind-protected terrace, the spacious lawn seating area under apple trees with an original fire and barbecue area invite you to linger for hours. From every seat you can enjoy the marvellous view of the mountains and healthy forests!

    You can enjoy the healthiest mountain spring water from every tap in the house and from the well in front of the house! Seasonal livestock farming in the immediate vicinity. An exclusive, family-friendly place for relaxation, sporting activities and adventures in the most beautiful natural surroundings awaits you! Welcome and enjoy it!

    BEDROOMS 1st floor: - 1 master bedroom (double bed), connected with children's room (1 bed) and shower/WC ensuite. - 1 large bedroom with 4 new single beds and 1 new double bed, sep. shower/WC - duvets, pillows, duvet covers and mattresses are NEW - fibre filling in duvets and pillows prevent allergies - bed linen prevents allergies - bed linen is made of natural fibres. Allergies are prevented - 100% cotton bed linen
    BATHROOM/WC: 1 sep. WC on the ground floor - 2 sep. shower/WC on the 1st floor
    ENTERTAINMENT: satellite TV on the 2nd floor (attic) - radio with cassette and CD player available - various games, Jass cards, toys available - small selection of books available
    CELLAR: our exquisite wines from Italy (red, white) are available for consumption - against cash payment, settlement before departure
    HEATING: - 1 tiled stove (warm air distribution) in the large and small parlour - cut wood available - the large bedroom is heated with a continuous fireplace - electric warm air stoves in WCs and bathrooms
    OUTDOOR AREA: large wooden table under apple trees - very nice barbecue area with accessories - wind-protected terrace with automatic sunshade - parasols and loungers available - fountain with the purest mountain spring water - wonderful, unforgettable mountain view

    ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: check-in approx. 16.00 h / check-out approx. 10.00 h (by arrangement) ACCESS/PARKING: - sufficient parking spaces directly at the house.
    PETS: - 1 dog allowed - in the house the stay for the dog is exclusively and only allowed on the ground floor.

    Other sports and leisure activities: Ideal starting point for marvellous summer hikes in the Alpstein region and the Churfirsten!

    Excursion possibilities: Only a few minutes by car to the valley station of the Säntis cable car on Schwägalp. Wonderful and interesting day trip destinations: e.g. to Appenzell or St. Gallen / various cultural possibilities: e.g. the Toggenburg World of Sound. Very good and cultivated gastronomy with regional specialities in the immediate vicinity.

    Village description: Ennetbühl is a small, quaint and beautiful village with a rural character. People meet and chat in the village restaurant, where local farmers, young and old, as well as tourists are always welcome. There is a small village shop for your daily needs. Only a few kilometres away from the village of Nesslau, where you will find a COOP food market, butcher, bakery, cheese dairy, etc.

Nice house with nice garden

We had a very good time. The garden has an excellent view and always sun and shaddow.
