"I’ve stayed here previously, always appreciate the warm welcome from staff, explained everything thoroughly….very comfortable room, slept well!
There is live music and there were a lot of people having a great time, finished at a reasonable time so no worries here.
The only thing I would suggest that needs attention is the shower curtain, it created a musty smell in the bathroom.
I’ll hopefully be back next year. "

"We had a meal on the first night which was very good. Guinness pie with mash and an Angus burger. Food was served hot and was very tasty 😋 The room was clean and tidy with a big bathroom. One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc."

"Lovely clean and well maintained room. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was just continental (toast and jam/nutella, cereal, fruit and flavoured yoghurts) but as I'm diabetic they went out shopping and got me plain yoghurts and marmite for low sugar options."

"Greeted by young lady who was very professional and polite with just the right amount of interest before showing me the room, which was clean and spacious with a nice view out of the bay window onto the garden. "Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay.
However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station.
Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...

The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. "

"Charming, comfortable and clearly not part of a chain. Pleasant decor, in keeping with the age of the house which is early nineteenth century, with interesting features such as the staircase and the portico at the front. Lovely staff especially Natalie. Excellent breakfast."
