"We had a truly exceptional stay at Villa Flavia. The hotel was in a superb location, with a very friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful accommodations. The rooms were clean and modern, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Plovdiv and would choose it every time ! Check out the tour of the hotel-- it's built on ancient ruins and the hotel staff does a nice job of explaining the history. "

Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem.
