"This wonderful little gem is at the top of the mountain. It’s a great ride up the road to the top of the mountain. The view was wonderful. The house was really a perfect size for just the two of us. It was well stocked with what we needed or wanted. The nice thing was that the owners were right next-door in their house if we needed anything they would’ve come over in a moment. I would highly recommend working with this owner or renting this cabin."

"We stayed there to hike in the area. This is a very good location with easy access to Shortoff Mountain Trails and Lake James for water activities and hiking. It is 5 minutes from Oak Hill Community Park and Forest. It is less than an hour from Table Rock, Hawks Bill, and other trails in Linville Gorge. "Beautiful property! We enjoyed the "swimming hole" in the heat and the kitchen was fully stocked. I would recommend an SUV or all wheel drive vehicle to be able to get in and out of the steep drive, but we loved the secluded feel of the property."
