This unit looks new and very updated with 3 large bedrooms, 3 large bathrooms and enough sleeping for eight so bring the whole family! The floor to ceiling windows in this unit, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, are nothing less than stunning! This is a corner unit so there are more windows with ample light, along with an expansive view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There are TV's, DVD players and DVDs to enjoy should the need arise during your stay. There is a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an awesome backsplash, and granite countertops. Caribbean Resort is a desirable complex on Navarre Beach. There is a nice covered patio stretching the length of the property which most condos don't have. This patio overlooks the swimming pool and hot tub so you can keep a close eye on the kids without getting a lot of sun exposure.

We stayed in 1801 because the 11th floor was under construction. The only real complaints we have are that there were ants in the kitchen and not enough paper products, trash bags, or dish soap were provided.

Disappointing Stay and Terrible Management

Our experience was full of issues, but I don’t even blame the property owner. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, all we got were generic, unhelpful responses. Vacasa completely dropped the ball, making our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been. Our stay was filled with issues, starting with no response for an early check-in request until days after we arrived. The Wi-Fi was unusable, constantly kicking us off, and the property had numerous maintenance problems: a fogged window, broken dishwasher, smelly and dirty washer, bathtubs that didn’t drain, cheap plastic chairs on the porch. At least they proved beach stuff… JK - just a broken hoagie board. Worst of all were the ROACHES—dead and alive—which made it impossible to relax. Despite reaching out multiple times, we received only generic, unhelpful responses. Vacasa showed zero care, and nothing was done to fix anything during our stay. We love Navarre, but this trip was a big disappointment.

I was very disappointed with this stay. We have stayed at this resort many times and it has seemed to get worse over time. We have stayed at this particular unit before and was not pleased with it this time around. Last time we stayed the dryer barely worked and we were disappointed to see they had not replaced it. Be prepared to dry your clothes 2 or 3 times over. The refrigerator barely kept our food and drinks cold. Stains on the pillow cases, with some pillows having cuts all over them. Drains were clogged in the bathroom sinks and shower. Missing tiles in the kitchen ceiling. We had no Wi-Fi all weekend and ended up having to use another units Wi-Fi which didn’t work well or at all at times. Beds have not been undated and were very uncomfortable. Hardly any patio furniture to sit on to enjoy the view of the beach and the chairs they did have felt like they were about to give. Mold on the shower curtains. Overall cleanliness was subpar. I hate to sound like a Karen leaving this review and this is the first time I’ve had to leave a review like this. I will and highly recommend staying at another unit in the condo or just trying a different condo completely. I will say that property management was very good with communication and responded to every text and call but failed to fix anything.

The great views made up for all the disappointment

Upon arriving, my first view of the ceiling in the kitchen. Missing tiles and burnt out bulbs. The unit was clean for the most part. I was surprised the covered porch was smaller than I thought. It didn't even offer 4 chairs and the three chairs it did have were mismatched and janky. As we went back and checked out our 3rd bedroom it was noticeably hot in there...it had its own thermostat and immediately noticed it wasn't running. 2nd there were ONLY EMPTY curtain hooks. I text the number provided regarding the air...I rec'd a nearly immediate response. I had to later ask for an update and I was told they would check w/ the "locals". At 10:06 pm I ask for an update.I was told the team didn't have a specific time and not to worry that they will reach out to me soon. I responded "don't come tonight...its after 10" I updated my family and told them no one would be coming out tonight. The response was "please allow me a moment to check" followed by a second text saying unfortunately there is no update as yet and as soon as local staff responds. That night/AM after 12 someone was ringing our doorbell. I asked multiple x's for an update.It NEVER got fixed. is horrible they told me I hadn't picked up my parking pass and pool bracelets...they told me to PU at the office. I didn't know where that was. They said it was in an email. It said the opposite/said it would be in the unit. We were cold due to our air being 63- to keep one room a little cooler. Molded pillow and shower curtain

3 night stay

The property was very large except for the kitchen area which was too big for more than one person. No salt and pepper or other spices. Needed more coffee cups. Needed better chairs on the balcony. Not enough chairs and weren’t comfortable. The view was incredible!! Comfy master bed.

Unreliable Wi-Fi

This is a nice clean rental with a great view. I wish that my issue of internet being down on last day of the stay when I had to work remotely was taken with some urgency and empathy. I had to call thrice and then after leaving an email received a replacement that there was a known outage. At 9 am I made my first call and wish was informed that there is a known outage. The second call the person told me that it wasn't her that I spoke with and that the technician would get there when he would. There is a Vacasa office close to the rental where I decided to go in person and still wasn't informed that there is a known issue. I wish at 9 am they told me so I could have spent the day at a local Starbucks or wherever they had wifi. Can't trust this property management if I need internet for work.

Nice but needs updates

Initially sent email questions to Vacasa which didn’t get response till three days after arriving. Also their arrival instructions indicated I would receive entry code the day before arrival which was incorrect. I talked to one of their reps the day of arrival who was totally helpful and provided the info. The property itself was nice but needs updates. The kitchen lacked items and the couch and dining chairs need replacing. The shower is in the jacuzzi tub and is a little awkward getting in. A grab handle would help especially with elderly.

Disappointed

The views for this unit were beautiful. Upon Initial checkin the unit looked clean. After cooking in the unit is when ROACHES started coming out in the unit. Unfortunately it was later in the night and the office was closed. In the morning we received a call that at 4pm we could move to a new unit. Many dollars of groceries were wasted because we did not want to chance getting sick from the roaches and definitely didn’t want to spend anymore time with the roaches in the condo. Disappointing having to waste time in a trip packing up and relocating. The new unit was at least roach free but did not not have the same views as the original unit. Overall a very disappointing trip with VRBO.

On a good note the Condo was very spacious, However it needs some updating. It obviously is not well maintained. The A/C went out in the middle of the second day we were there. Someone came fairly quickly to check it out but was unable to fix the problem. The filter and vents were filthy! They were going to send someone else out to fix the unit, but by 1:30 that day nobody had come yet. Temperature in the unit was 76-78 by that time. We could not stay another night with it being this hot. Yes, I know unfortunately these kind of things happen but we are talking the middle of JULY, with temperatures at 99 degrees. I’m hoping they will work with us on getting some $$ compensation do to this unfortunate situation. I will not be staying at the Caribbean Resort again until they do some much needed maintenance and updating. Tina

Beautiful View but Property was Gross

The first issue that we encountered was that the code provided to us in the login instructions did not work for the door. There were subsequently two others code sent to us that did not work. The third code they sent FINALLY worked. The second major issue was that it was apparent the management company wasn't taking care of the property appropriately. There was a MASSIVE amount of mold on the shower curtains. Certain areas of the property looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The elevator stopped working during our stay. The views were beautiful though and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the ocean. If the property didn't have beautiful views, it would have nothing going for it. We won't be staying here again in the future mainly due to the extensive mold issue we encountered. We stayed here for a family vacation and were all upset that we didn't have much choice in regards to bathing our children other than in a bathtub/shower with mold as well as the shower curtain which was covered in mold.

Over all pretty good

Property was really nice but the check in process was horrible, the entrance code to the condo did not work had to contact Vacasa and was on hold forever and after a 11 hour trip it would be nice to get into your room. Then after finally getting that taken care of the codes they gave me to get into the pool and beach area were wrong, I tried to contact them with no luck at all and no response the whole trip. We were able to get the codes from a nice guest that helped us and gave them to us. So after all that the room is very nice just dealing with Vacasa sucked.

Convenient with problems

I try to remember the good and bad points when I write a review, but sometimes the bad is overwhelming. The best "good" points include location. We have loved Navarre for almost 20 years. It has changed a lot since we first discovered it, but it's still less commercialized than some of the surrounding beach cities. The view from the balcony was amazing and condo was very large and roomy. We only stayed for a long weekend, but the supplies provided were adequate. On the bad side: There was a list of problems that we submitted to management, and only one was addressed - the A/C in the small suite. The wireless network for our specific unit never worked. We learned that we could connect to a neighbor's wireless that was managed by the same company but none were ever stable. We were constantly kicked off or had such a low signal that it was very inconvenient. We used our hotspot a lot. Thank goodness for a plan with unlimited data. We could only get one TV to work. My husband said it had nothing to do with the wifi issue because the other TVs didn't use wifi. We moved the one TV that worked to the living room so it could be used by everyone in a common area. One of the big problems is that the bed in the small suite was broken. The frame collapsed and the broken pieces were lying on the floor when my parents arrived. We bought landscaping blocks from Walmart to support the frame that was left. The sink stopper in the common bathroom was broken and wouldn't drain unless manually held open. One more thing that wasn't broken, but more of an inconvenience: The master bedroom had blackout curtains for the windows facing the gulf, but not the for the door going out to the deck. Just a side note that if management had corrected these problem, I would have given a better review. They have CSRs to answer the phone 24/7 but that is useless if nothing is done about the problems.

Great view

All the windows made this stay amazing. Everywhere you looked, you could see the water. There were a few frustrating things that made the stay a little less than perfect. The handle to the master shower was off (not sure why that wasn't addressed before we checked in). I did notify agency and they were willing to come fix it. The shower off the kitchen, the water was backwards (cold was up and hot was down). We didn't discover this until after my son was scalded taking a shower. There is a broken mirror in the top of the closet in the master that my husband's wrist came very close to slicing open. No pot holders made taking things out of the oven an adventure. The rug in the 2nd big bedroom, was absolutely disgusting. We rolled it up out of the way. Even with all of these quirks, the condo was roomy. There was space outside the door to keep beach stuff out of the condo. Furniture was comfy and it was easy to feel at home.

Great stay

This was a nice condo we definitely enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing. The only complaints we had were the floor wasn’t clean upon arrival we ended up buying a swiffer and washed it ourselves because our feet got so dirty. Also in picture there are 4 chairs on the balcony but only 2 were out there.
