"Jeg har boet på hotellet mange gange, både forretning og privat. Har også afholdt seminarer på hotellet. Jeg vælger hotellet pga. den sunde mad, træningsfaciliteterne og den naturskønne beliggenhed. Det er også et stort plus, at mobiltelefoner ikke kan bruges i offentlige arealer på hotellet. Det gør stemningen afslappet og hyggelig. Ydermere er det dejligt, at der ved hvert måltid fokuseres meget på næringsværdier i maden, allergier etc og at der ikke serveres alm. øl, men sunde drikke, som...
"Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
"Really charming 500 year old gastropub- a bit worn but full of history and life. Lots of guests in the restaurant, great beds and plenty of hot water. Large room. Ok WiFi."
"We choose The Boot Inn to stay overnight as we were meeting family for dinner in nearby Mercia Marina, we were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was as described on website, very comfortable and stylishly designed, breakfast was very much to our liking and the options were plentiful should you need. "I have travelled a lot, and price normally equals quality, but definitely not in this hotel!
Everything was a diappointment and I dont know where to start. The constant No´s at all questions, the defect mixer tap in the shower that wasnt fixed until I threatened them. The missing towel after cleaning had been there, or the missing toilet paper - or or or I could go on! Just in general a very bad experience and location as well. Dont go there!"
