Hear the stream outside your bedroom window. Wake up with a cup of coffee on the front porch and watch the sun reflect off the magnificent Chalk Cliffs below Mt. Princeton. Relax on the back deck and see the shadows fall over crystal clear Chalk Creek. All these wonderful activities are available ( and many, many more ) to you and your family at Cliffs & Stream Log Cabin.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

The perfect property, location and hosts. Pinon Property was responsive to our questions and needs and made sure we had the best time. Special gifts, informative notes and little touches made this even more memorable at Cliffs & Stream. We can’t wait to stay here again and hope to visit other properties of theirs as well.

This home had everything. We loved our time here. It was such a a beautiful location. The property was exceptionally clean. The host was also very helpful when we requested an early check-in due to a work emergency.

We loved our stay at Cliffs and Streams. It was super clean and spacious and just overall a great experience. The only issue was spotty WiFi which has more to do with the location than anything. Highly recommend.

Lovely house in the woods, right on the stream and minutes from beautiful hikes and the Mt Princeton Hot Springs. 3 bedrooms with queen beds and attached baths, as well as bunk beds in the common area downstairs. Washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. Multiple fireplaces, both gas and natural wood (which you can chop yourself outside!). Lots of games: foosball and mini pool inside, cornhole and horseshoes outside (both kid and adult versions). The WiFi is super weak and can't stream, so there are DVDs and video tapes available to watch instead. It is strong enough to load websites and maps, and to make phone calls if you stand in the right spot (seems stronger downstairs). There's no cell reception, so have your check-in info saved in advance! There are very limited dining options nearby, so bring your own food or expect to drive 15 mins to Buena Vista or 30 to Salida. Most restaurants stop serving at 9pm. Apparently you can usually drive over the Tincup Pass to Tincup/Taylor Park, but it's been raining so much the lake flooded the road! We went over the Cottonwood Pass from BV instead then rented UTVs to drive up to Tincup. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

The property is set in a great location next to Chalk Creek. The cabin is spacious an clean. It is great for a couple of families since each bedroom has its own bathroom and plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. It is a property I would be glad to rent again.

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at this beautiful cabin. Our group was three adults who each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. It’s sits in a valley near the creek. There are other cabins nearby by we never heard or saw anyone else.

We stayed in December 2022. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. The house is beautiful and has every amenity you can imagine! Clean and stocked with more than we expected. We loved it. I can’t think of anything I would suggest to the owners/management. Great experience all around!

Truly the best house I’ve ever stayed in! The pics online don’t do it any justice. This house is AMAZING!! I felt family love every minute I was there. Loved it and I have absolutely no complaints!!!

Beautiful property right on Chalk Creek. Property found as listed. We were on the go so much we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities. But loved the fire pit and sitting on the deck listening to the creek. My granddaughter loved the toy closet!

The cabin was even better than the pictures, it had everything we needed, very close to the hot springs and st. Elmo to feed the chipmunks! A fantastic vacation!
