The Riverside Retreat

Beautiful & secluded. Take in the gorgeous river views while soaking in your private hot tub; gathering around a bonfire on the water's edge; stretching out on the oversized leather couch streaming your favorite show-all with your loved ones by your side-including the furry ones!

This home is the perfect blend of lovely wooded seclusion and only minutes to the Historic Lebanon Square which boasts a local coffee shop, a bookstore, local eateries, guitar store (with new & used vinyl), micro-brewery, mid-century furniture store, veterans museum (with FREE entry) and the cutest boutiques! Outdoor activities abound with a boat/kayak put in ramp 2 mins away and Cedars of Lebanon State Park only 20 mins south.

If you want the nightlife of Nashville this quiet and secluded home is only 45 mins east of Nashville; just an easy shot down I-40 to get to Music City proper. You could always take the Music City Star train downtown with the station only 12 mins away!

This welcoming space is thoughtfully curated with quality and comfort in mind. This home has all the high end touches for you to enjoy your stay without any of the pretense. Perfect stargazing nights with little light pollution and the relaxing sound of wildlife and nearby farm animals. This is a country locale so some of the local kitties may pay you a friendly visit to welcome you to "the sticks." You will hear a pup bark (or coyote across the river howl!) and a rooster crow as the pleasant backdrop of rural life.

Best host

We had a little trouble getting into the house when we first arrived, but the hostess,Rebecca was a doll and helped us out immediately. Checked on us throughout our stay.... customer service goes a long way in my book and she was gracious and so helpful. The house is adorable and cute and clean. The treats were an added bonus.

One of the best properties we have ever stay at. Rebecca , our host was amazing! She pays attention to the needs of her guests, make you feel important and appreciated beyond our expectations! She was absolutely amazing.Definitely will be back with other family and friends

Outstanding

Very pleasant stay. The view is great, the decor is updated and nice. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit was nice to relax by. Very clean. All 10's....Only thing I would recommend is to provide a bit more kitchen items. Cooked for 5 adults and needed sharp knives and were a little short on decent knives. Not a deal breaker and if we choose to visit again, will book here again.

Baseball trip

Our oldest son was playing high school baseball down here for spring break. We came down to watch with our other kids. We had a great stay! The beds were very comfortable. House was clean and had everything that we needed! We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and looking at the water and using the hot tub. We took the kids to a couple of the spots that were recommended for fishing and kayaking! If we needed something the host was quick to respond. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here!

Excellent home

We enjoyed the home and the view of the river. Close to the town of Lebanon with the feel of the country, this very clean home offers very relaxed and spacious living quarters with a game room for the kids. We enjoyed s’mores over the open fire in the backyard fire pit. The owner checked in on us without being intrusive. We had cookies and a snack basket upon arrival. Great place, great price. Bonus - our dogs were welcomed too!

Convenient locale with feel of country

We loved the country feel of the location and view of the river, but we’re only 5-15 minutes from stores and restaurants. We were using the home to celebrate the holidays with our adult sons. The home is set up very nicely for visiting inside and outside on the deck or the fire pit in the evening. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was available, owner replied immediately to our questions and corrected 2 problems very quickly during our stay. We appreciated the cookies, dog treats and Christmas decorations to help use celebrate the holidays. Thanks for a great place to visit and relax!

Quiet, comfortable and scenic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Retreat! Beautiful open great room/kitchen with master bedroom on one side and two additional bedrooms on opposite side. Wonderful welcome basket for people and pups! Spent a lot of time in the hot tub enjoying the scenic river views. You get a home in the country but close enough to quaint shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO home! The place was spotlessly clean and offered breathtaking views that made every morning a delight. The game room was a fantastic addition, providing hours of fun for our group. The peaceful ambiance truly helped us unwind and relax, and we loved soaking in the cool hot tub after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a perfect getaway! Stunning Day/Night Views

Property was super clean! Our Host had great communication & very friendly about our stay & check in/out process. We loved our food basket with treats! The hot tub was a huge hit for our group the night time sky was breaktaking! Everything about this property was 5 + for us! We wish we had more time to enjoy the kayaking and river but next time!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful lovely home. Very clean and the host was very responsive to my questions. We used their kayaks and she gave us good advice on where to start and end. We drove into downtown and found cute little clothing shops and a fun brewery. Also enjoyed the firepit with a last night bonfire. Highly recommend this place!

Quite a Gem!

The property is everything it shows and more! About 45 min outside of Nashville but the drive in is quite scenic and goes quick! It's nice to stay in the TN country while enjoying the busy city life! Hot tub out back, fire pit and 2 min drive to boat launch for fishing and kayaks provides by owners. Owners were quite accommodating for wifi issues and streaming services! Above and beyond! Beds very comfortable! 2 showers and Jacuzzi tub! Walk in closets and laundry on site. Highly recommend!! Owners very helpful and responsive to questions as needed!

Very nice, super clean, layout was great inside and out. Great views from the deck. Hottub worked great, grill fired right up. Very open space, allowed us to all be together and not feel tight on space.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully decorated throughout. It was very clean and well organized. The host had plenty of supplies available. We especially enjoyed the back deck which allowed for a relaxing view of the Cumberland River. I had a few questions when we first arrived and our host responded quickly. This is a great get away location.

Amazing And relaxing getaway!

The view from the porch is amazing and puts you in "vacation mindset" right away! The house is beautful and has comfy furniture and even soft comfy blankets. Everything was exceptionallly clean. Instructions were clear and communication with owner was super easy.. The beds were a so comfy also. We enjoyed the hot tub after a few long hike days. Fire pit area was inviting but we never got around to using it. The location was great...easy acces to surrounding areas but away from the world. We really enjoyed the shops in the Lebanon town square..the Brewery was really good. I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat.

Family Get together and Nashville Day trip

6 of us stayed at the house to visit family in nearby Castalian Springs . We took a day trip to Nashville and a night trip there the next day. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub, the home was clean and spacious. Owner was helpful and kind. We saw lots of deer on the property and enjoyed being near family for a short visit. Had groceries delivered with no problem. The weather during our stay was too cold to enjoy a lot of time on the deck but it was a great space for when it warms up a little.

This place was great.

This place was great. Everything was perfectly accommodated. Beds were cozy, hot tub was hot, layout was fantastic. Our party consisted of my dad, my brother and me, so we had more than plenty of room to stretch out. The river view was fantastic, the property was peaceful. It’s the perfect distance from/to Lebanon. Lastly, the owner was wonderfully responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend and would love to stay here again.
