We had some rain and cooler temps, but that was ok as the pool is heated and there were plenty of activities inside. The beds were comfortable, the house well equipped with anything you might need. "I have been staying at this historic place now for three straight years. Simply put there isn't a better place to stay on a vacation. The owners are the nicest people to work with, they treat you like family. They supply almost everything you need...just bring your suitcase because that is all you really need. This historic mill is quiet, except for the falls outside that put you to sleep or create a peaceful calm, it's always clean, and it's right downtown in Shell Rock. Look no further than...

The house is so well-stocked, so clean, so comfortable, and it makes for a relaxing retreat. With the weather nicer this trip, we did get to sit on the deck and go by the water.
