This was a perfect home base for our family leading up our son’s graduation from URI. We were close to our favorite places to celebrate, with easy access to campus, restaurants and the beach. We walked each morning down to the oceanside and enjoyed evenings at the house in the TV rec room and on the screened in porch. Highly recommend. And what a lovely touch to have a bouquet of roses upon arrival on the kitchen island wishing me a Happy Mothers Day!

Great location and cute design

We enjoyed our stay here. The nearby town beach is amazing, and we loved our trips to Black Point, Block Island, and Newport. The outdoor screened porch was particularly useful.

Narragansett beach getaway

Susan was an amazing host! Her home/ property was immaculate and cozy. The perfect location , close to beach, shops, restaurants and many other activities.

Narragansett stay

This is a lovely house with very useful parts, a screened, covered porch as well as an outdoor table and an indoor rumpas room which was helpful with cooler weather at night and keeping mosquitoes away! And the location was really good

Graduation weekend

We had a great time at this centrally located and welcoming home for college graduation weekend, and particularly enjoyed the three season porch and backyard for our family brunch. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We had the greatest family vacation at this beautiful home! Susan, the host, was excellent and very communicative. There was a beautiful card and snacks on the kitchen island with flowers from her yard when we arrived. The home is decorated beautifully, and there are lots of places to sit and relax, eat or play games. The fenced in yard is beautiful - our dog enjoyed being able to run around and just sit in the grass. Great location! Less than 1 mile from the beach (beach passes included!), and very close to stores and the gym. We were sad to leave, and will definitely stay there again! Thank you, Susan! :)

We stayed in this rental property for the whole month of July and had a fabulous time. The house is cheery and comfortable with many different seating/relaxation options including a comfortable screened in porch. Many cabinets, closets, and drawers were left empty so we were able to store all of our things. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to navigate. The outdoor gardens are gorgeous! There is a wonderful collection of books on all topics! There are games and puzzles for rainy days or relaxing evenings. Fenced in yard for the dog. We loved Narragansett and the surrounding areas. The entrance to the Narragansett Town beach is 1.25 miles from the house according to my GPS; OK to walk to unless it is very hot out and/or you are carrying heavy items to use on the beach. There is a lot for non-residents where you can pay to park. I gave a poor rating for cleanliness of the house as the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty inside. The dishwasher was so dirty that there was debris in the glasses after running a wash. This was remedied by cleaning the dishwasher, but you have to make sure the dishes go into it without any food remnants at all otherwise the dishes will not be clean. The rest of the house was spotless when we arrived. I would highly recommend staying in this house as it is comfortable, a good location, and decorated in such a way that we felt happy just being there. The host, Susan, was very nice, responsive, and always very helpful.

Our stay was amazing. The home was exactly what we were looking for, walking distance to the beach in a quiet neighborhood with a comfortable layout. The rooms were beautifully decorated and inviting. Everyone in our party had a place to enjoy a book, take a nap, or sip on a glass of wine. The screened-in porch was our favorite room to gather. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening. The central A/C worked perfectly to cool us down after a long day at the beach. There are so many restaurants within walking distance that we think we have gained 10 pounds. We will be back. Lastly, Susan was a great communicator and attentive host. She even left a beautiful bouquet and treats on our arrival.

Adorable beach house!

I felt like we were in a gem of surf club - with every amenity and comfort for a fabulous July beach stay for our family. Decorating is fabulous!! House was immaculate. Layout so comfortable and CUTE as can be. Susan our host was incredibly responsive and friendly- available for questions. Comfortable for a family and family with teens. Location is a mile walk to the beach + restaurants and down the street from gansett wraps and grocery which was super convenient. Will rent again!!

We had a great time in this beautiful house. Susan, the owner is great. Only complaint ended up being that she asked us if we would be willing to water her plants every other day since the person who normally does it was on vacation. We said yes, but it turned out she had an enormous amount of flowers and plants, mainly outside but a number inside too. It ended up feeling like quite a big job that took time and we got wet everytime from the leakey hose. We obviously could just not have done it, but we didn’t want her plants to die. She did allow us to exchange the 45 pet fee for the watering (at my request), we had a dog. But in the end it felt like a bigger job than just for the 45., particularly when we were on vacation and didn’t want a job. I don’t believe Susan intended to inconvenience us, but unfortunately she did. Also the bed in the smaller of the two rooms with queen sized beds had a very squeaky frame that made noise to the point of waking you up ever time you turned over. We did accidentally break a kitchen bowl when we were cleaning up to leave, which we felt terrible about and were very sorry. Aside from those two before mentioned issues, it was lovely.

An expensive disappointment

This house is on the corner of a busy road with a lot of traffic. The neighborhood is a typical suburban neighborhood with ranch houses - traffic on both roads, nothing to suggest you are near a beach. The beach itself is just over a mile away. Parking is a nightmare. The house is advertised for 6+ guests but upon arrival, we discovered that it only comes with 4 beach passes. You can drive to other towns/beaches (& pay) but there is just no natural beauty here. When we arrived, Susan met us at the house and showed us around. She pointed out that the previous owners had stupidly installed kitchen flooring that couldn't withstand water, and so the floor was warped in several places. When we left, she accused us of somehow flooding the kitchen and destroying some floorboards - including the ones that were warped when we arrived. She withheld our security deposit and told us she was using our (mandatory) insurance to replace her whole kitchen floor. Maybe this is her strategy for fixing up the house, which she plans to retire to in the future - ? Also, she left us with no dishwasher soap, no kitchen soap, no laundry detergent and two half-rolls of TP in the bathrooms. And a smoke detector that had expired several years before and thus when it started its incessant beeping could not even be repaired with new batteries (which WE bought and paid for). The house was overpriced to begin with. When you add in the money she took for "repairs," it's just terrible.

Great House and Great Owner!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time vacationing at this house. We found it to be clean, neat, and tastefully decorated. Our favorite part of the house was its location - it is a stone’s throw away from the water AND shopping! Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful inside and out

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this home and lovely fenced in yard. The various seating areas within the home were very comfortable and my husband, adult daughter and myself had plenty of room to enjoy being together or finding our own quiet spot. We really enjoyed relaxing or eating on the screened in porch as well eating outdoors and we appreciated the beautiful plantings in the yard. The home was visually appealing both inside and out. Susan was very kind and responsive to our needs. We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay and would look forward to staying in this home again.

Can't wait to go back!

I stayed here for a month and wished I could have stayed longer! The house itself is great - clean, bright, and fun. The fenced-in yard was beautiful and the screened-in porch was my favorite place to hang. It's a little over a mile to Narragansett beach but was quite doable with my beach cart. The owner was reachable and very friendly. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Loved this house so much!

We stayed a week with our teenaged daughters, one of their friends and our dog. The house is comfortable, well-decorated, the beds are comfy and the screened in porch and back yard are lovely. I cook and it was a well-appointed kitchen, so I was able to make everything I needed to with no issues. Susan was great and incredibly helpful when I had a question. Technically, you could walk to the beach but it's a very long walk. We drove (5 minute drive at best) and were able to find parking no problem. She has 4 beach chairs too (which I only mention because we brought them but didn't need them.) We live in a small apartment in Brooklyn and, even though the house wasn't palatial (not my style anyway), it felt like every day I walked into a room and said to my husband, "I love this house. I almost understand why people move to the suburbs when I'm in this house." Highly recommend.

An Outstanding Experience

A very comfortable and clean home located close to the fabulous Narragansett Pier beach. Not quite walking distance but free parking is available at the beach. Susan, the owner, is a great host.

Narragansett Pier vacation

The bonus of this vacation was 12 days of glorious sun! The house was perfect for my family, 3 children ages 7-13 and my daughter, son in law, and myself. Ample space, room for all to spread out when we were inside. Kitchen was amply stocked with pots, pans and dishware. I think the owner talked about enclosing the outdoor shower (in the future) which would have made the stay perfect
