"This was a really maginificent place to stay in the heart of Morpeth. It's in a fabulous historic building. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and there's a great guest lounge. A lovely continental breakfast is included. The owner is wonderful and very helpful.

"Thornton is a lovely location. We stayed in The Arnott room which I would call a suite - lounge, bedding etc.
the room is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, mugs, saucers for two people. Bathroom is spacious. Free wifi was good.

"Family room was huge. Very clean with new private bathroom. Aircon was great. More than enough storage space for baggage. Easy on site parking. Easy to check in and out. Bistro at hotel looked fabulous but unfortunately didn't get to eat at the venue as restaurant completely booked out and hotel was packed.
Will make sure to book at the bistro next time because we will definitely be back. I couldn't fault anything about the stay. Most definitely recommend. "

We booked and paid for a 4BR apartment with 3 toilets
They gave us only a 3 BR apartment with only 2 toilets . As a result the 3 rd family had to move out to a house of one of our friends . Though we messaged the issue , no response from owners . It was shocking "

"Great location. Lovely exterior close to everything. Inside starting to look tired with things starting to fall apart. We couldn’t find a chopping board or any cutting knives and only one steak knife so made it difficult to prepare food. "
