Villa Strea with pool, Porto Cesareo, Italy

A beautiful villa for 7 people which is charming both inside and out. Set in lovely private gardens, with its own swimming pool, close to the popular resort of Porto Cesareo, this makes a fantastic holiday base for friends or family.

The front of the villa is dominated by a spacious veranda which looks out over the garden. It is the ideal spot to relax or enjoy meals al fresco at the dining table. Double glass doors take you into the living room which is furnished with 2 sofas, an armchair and a smaller dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen is off the living room. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer. There is also a kitchen table for casual dining.

The pool area is well-appointed with several sun loungers and umbrellas, so guests can relax after a refreshing swim. The rest of the garden has been created with the same amount of care. There is a lily pond, with several olive trees and palm trees on the lawn.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The light-filled master bedroom has a comfortable double bed.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: The third bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofas and armchair in the living room convert to 1 single and 2 double beds

Bathroom
The spacious bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC
Extra: There is an outdoor shower by the swimming pool.

Location
Although the villa is surrounded by nature it is not isolated. All the amenities guests need, restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc are within 10 minutes.

La Strea Beach (7 minutes) and Sant’Isidoro Beach (4 minutes) are both wide sandy beaches, with a gentle sloping shore and clear waters. Perfectly suited to young children. The resort of Porto Cesareo (7 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (30 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. Its ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port.

Also, the town of Lecce (35 minutes), known as the Florence of the South, is worth a visit. It is admired for its outstanding Baroque architecture and Roman remains.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
