"Lovely house situated in a very quiet area. Property was very clean and comfortable, well maintained with good furniture. Plenty of parking area. The swimming pool is great and kept clean with the owner working hard to keep it that way. Unfortunately, poor weather in September meant that we could not take a dip very often but we could relax outside. The pool table in the lounge was very inviting and well-used in the evenings. The donkey and pony in the adjoining field were friendly, particularly...

"We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

"Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 12 dans cette maison. Le séjour a été globalement très bon, même si certains points méritent d'être noté.Beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur ainsi qu'à l'extérieur. La cour est très agréable, avec le panier de basket, les vélos. La piscine est a bonne température et plutôt grande. La cuisine est très grande avec pas mal d'équipements. La maison est à proximité d'un spot de canoë tres bien, ainsi que d'Angoulême qui est une très belle ville.À noter toutefois qu'il n'y a...

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Absolutely brilliant two weeks. Enjoyed listening to the river as well as drifting along in it. Saw wonderful wildlife. Perfect and tranquil setting. Elaine and Richard were perfect hosts, there if needed but both us and them had privacy. Would highly recommend "
