New Listing - Located in Historic Downtown Mystic. Renovated July 2020 - This garden apartment is walking distance to Deep Water Marinas, the best restaurants in Mystic, Captain Daniel Packer Inn, SIFT Bakery, The Oyster Club, the Historic Mystic Drawbridge, the Mystic river, Train Station, and Unique Shops. Minutes away from the historic fishing village of Stonington Borough home to Capt. Palmer discoverer of Antarctica, Fort Griswold Revolutionary War battle site on the Groton Bank, Fort Trumbull that fell to an assault instigated by Benedict Arnold, Submarine Museum home of the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear powered submarine and first submarine to navigate beneath the North Pole, Bluff Point State Park, Haley Farm State park, Barn Island Wildlife Preserve, the Mystic Seaport Museum, and the Mystic Aquarium. Just a short drive to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos, and RI beaches.

This modernly designed historic first floor 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment sleeps up to 4 with one queen and one standard bed. Each bedroom offers a comfortable nights rest with Sealy Tempur-Pedic mattresses and smart tv. Sheets, wash cloths, and towels are provided. The unit has high-speed Wi-Fi, 4K HDTV, washer & dryer, heating, and A/C.

It features a fully equipped high-end kitchen, microwave, blender, toaster, cooking essentials, dishwasher, and a Keurig machine. There is1 on-site parking space, and a shared common backyard space. An additional parking space may be provided for $25/day with advance notice.

This apartment is one of four units which are all available to rent on AirBnB. Please contact host if you would like to rent more than one unit for family reunions, weddings, and special events.

-This property is a short 5-minute drive from I-95 Exit 89. For a more scenic route through downtown take Exit 90 to start exploring the surroundings.

-Logan International (Boston) is a 2hr drive

**Please keep in mind this house was built in 1844 and there are a total of four apartments with other guests and residents. Please be respectful to others during quiet hours, loud noises travel easily.

Great Stay in Mystic

Everything with our stay was great. The apartment is cute.The bottle of wine as a welcome gift was a much appreciated surprise. The apartment is within walking distance of shopping and great restaurants. We took advantage of not needing a vehicle to grab a bite to eat. We did cook in a few times and found that the apartment was equipped with everything we needed to make a meal.The only "issue" some might have with the apartment is the noise of people walking above. This is clearly disclosed in the listing and we did not find it bothersome at all. Overall, a great basecamp to explore Mystic and the area.

We had a wonderful stay. It was located close to shops and restaurants. It was a memorable weekend with my family . Would definitely like to revisit in the future. It was a quick and easy check in, clean and beautifully decorated, would recommend to family and friends.

This was a great place to stay. You can walk to nearly everything. The place was clean and the A/C worked great. Worth the money.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. The location was great and walkable to downtown. The description said first floor, which I suppose it is but technically it’s ground level so it’s partially underneath. You definitely got that feeling, and it felt alittle musty. The description also mentioned it being an old building and it being noisy which it definitely was however the people did stop running around by 10pm.

Best location for walking Mystic

Everything was great, if you want to enjoy Old Mystic and not stress over parking and very slow moving traffic this place can’t be beat. Nicely updated and great communication with the owners.

Wonderful location!

Fantastic location within a short walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and downtown Mystic. Made getting in and out of town very simple not having to worry about parking. Host was very quick and easy to communicate with. Great spot for our weekend getaway!

Clean and close to everything!

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The property is conveniently located. Close enough that we could walk to everything (except the aquarium) but far enough that you don't hear the sounds of downtown. The apartment/grounds are spotless. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. The AC worked great to keep humidity down and the place cool. There is a Keurig coffee maker with a few pods to get you through your first night. Let me share some insights that I wish I had known before. These are not deal-breakers, but being aware of them can enhance your stay. (1) As the owner describes this is one of a few apartments in a large historic home and sound travels. We did not hear any voices, TV, etc. Everyone respected quiet hours. But... this is the ground floor apartment. So we could hear loud footsteps above us. If that bothers you, consider reserving one of the apartments in this house that is not below another apartment, or bring some foam earplugs. If you stay on a top floor - don't walk on your heels. (2) To keep the apartment smelling fresh, they either use a cleaning product or scented damp rid. If you are sensitive to smell, bring allergy pills or Tylenol. (3) There is a dresser. No closet to hang clothes. But there are hooks near the front door and an iron and ironing board. If you have clothes that you must hang, bring a hanger. These are so minor, but good to know.

just a couple things

need instructions for the air cond/heater could have used a salt/pepper shaker couple more towels would have been nice network was slow and you can't use the tv in living room when bdr tv is used, they both have the same type of remotes may be the problem. other bdr tv was fine back yard could have used better patio furniture

Great location

In town for a family reunion so just needed a place to sleep and have breakfast. The location was excellent and private parking was great. Two minute walk to Sift, the Oyster Club and Daniel Packer Tavern. The apartment was clean and roomy. AC was great. Shower was awesome. Needs two more dining room chairs. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard having coffee in the morning watching the joggers go by. If you’re just looking for a good place to sleep with a great location this is it.
