Villa Pasiphae - With Private Heated Pool

Set in the peaceful Cretan countryside, far from the crowds, Villa Pasiphae is built of stone, honoring the island’s traditional architecture. A true oasis of serenity and authenticity, it is ideal for those seeking complete relaxation in a natural and unpretentious setting.

The villa is located in Mylopotamos, in a secluded spot, offering privacy and a unique atmosphere. The nearest village, Doxaro, is just three kilometers away, while right next to the villa there is a small traditional chapel, enhancing the sense of peace and connection with the landscape. At the same distance (3 km) lies the historic Monastery of Vosakos.

The property spans a privately owned plot of 2 acres, with the main building covering 500 square meters and accommodating up to 14 guests. The outdoor area of Villa Pasiphae is designed to offer relaxation and luxury.

The large 50 sq.m. swimming pool (Heated pool :
extra charge/60€ per day) features a separate children's section, surrounded by sun loungers, umbrellas, and a seating area—perfect for hours of sunbathing. Next to the pool, there is an outdoor shower, as well as a playground for younger guests. A large covered gazebo serves as an outdoor dining area, complete with a barbecue, wood-fired oven, and sink, creating the ideal setting for family or group meals under the stars. At the courtyard level, there is an enclosed room that houses a gym and sauna for those wishing to combine relaxation with personal wellness.

The house is spread over two levels: ground floor and first floor.

On the ground floor, guests will find a spacious living area with comfortable sofas, a television, and cozy corners for unwinding. The open-plan kitchen, integrated with the living room, is fully equipped with everything necessary for meal preparation.

A standout feature of the living room is the impressive mural of Pasiphae, daughter of the sun god Helios and wife of King Minos. According to myth, from her union with the sacred bull, the Minotaur was born—symbolizing the mystical side of Cretan mythology. Her presence in the mural adds a special aura to the space, bridging the past with the present.

The ground floor includes four bedrooms. Two have double beds, and the other two each have two single beds. All bedrooms feature their own en-suite bathroom with shower, television, and air conditioning, offering full autonomy and comfort.

On the first floor are the remaining three bedrooms. One has a double bed, and the other two have two single beds each. As with the ground floor, each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and television, and each opens to a private veranda with panoramic views of the natural surroundings.

For daily essentials and more shopping options, the larger village of Sisses is only 11 km from the villa. Here, guests can find grocery stores, cafes, and other local amenities.
If you're looking to spend time by the sea, the nearest beach is Alikokkí Beach in Geropotamos, offering a peaceful spot to swim and unwind.
