The villa has a two-story layout. Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a cozy living room providing a comfortable space to unwind, with a flat-screen TV and smart entertainment system. Adjusted to the living room there is a dining area. Furthermore, in this level, there is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the modern appliances you could need, including a dishwasher and coffee machine and a second large shower/WC with hydromassage. On the same level there is a tastefully furnished master bedroom with a double queen's-size bed and ensuite shower/WC.



The upper floor, reached through a wooden staircase, offers a master bedroom with a queen's-size bed and a large veranda with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Additional sleeping arrangements include a single bed in the common area under the staircase that leads to the upper bedroom and a single sofa bed in the living room.



Outside, you'll find a lush garden, complete with a barbecue area and outdoor dining furniture, perfect for alfresco meals. The private pool is a real highlight, offering a refreshing dip on those warm, sunny days. Sun chairs and umbrellas are provided for a relaxing time under the Cretan sun.



The surrounding area of Mylopotamos is truly captivating. The village of Episkopi is a beautiful small village with a tavern operating in the summer.



The short history of the village goes back to antiquity, when the village even had a goldsmith work shop. An ancient temple dominated the center of the village probably of the Goddess Demeter, that the Christians unfortunately demolished it and an imposing Catholic Cathedral church was erected in its place. Later during the Turkish occupation, the temple most of it was demolished. A piece of it intact with the dome it is still preserved today with the crown of the Latin Bishop JACOB SORETO with the date in Latin MDLXVIII (1568), to adorn the portico at the main entrance of the temple. The temple is located just 15 mts outside the house. The points of interests Archaeological Museum of Eleftherna is 25 km away, while Archaeological Museum of Rethymno is 36 km away.



The beautiful Bali beach is just 14km away while the charming town of Rethymno is a 32km drive, offering all amenities a city offers and many attractions worth visiting. Heraklion airport is conveniently located just 50km from the villa.
