Brook St has a large two-story brick home
set on a battleaxe elevated block and fully screened from the street. It has a private south-facing paved courtyard perfect for hot summer afternoons. The front yard has a large lawn area ideal for lounging, playing games and enjoying the morning sun. There is parking for six cars.

Integrated living is at its best here at Brook St Retreat. With white French doors and billowing white curtains in most rooms, opening out onto large verandas, courtyard and lawn areas the home feels open, airy, simply beautiful and incredibly relaxing.

After a day in the world-renown wine growing region of the Hunter Valley treat yourself to your very own curated cheese and wine-tasting evening. Take a few steps from the kitchen through the French doors, onto the lawn and take a seat at the table under the shade of a cantilever umbrella to dine alfesco. Dining

Help yourself to some crushed ice from the fridge, pop it into the blender, give the soda stream a whiz and enjoy a cocktail or two while you set the 12-seat rustic dining table.

Sleeping
The home features six bedrooms, five with queen beds and one with a double bed. Sleep soundly with crisp white linen, an array of pillows, French doors, sheer billowing curtains, block-out blinds, and ceiling fans. All but one room has built-in cupboards with ample hanging, storage and shelves for your belongings.
The main bedroom has an ensuite and his and hers walk-in robes.
There is a sofa bed in the main living room which is comfortable for small children only or one light-weight teen.
A port-a-cot is available on request.

Brook St has three bathrooms: en-suite, main bathroom with bath and third small bathroom off the laundry. Laundry has a front-loading washing machine and dryer.

FIRE PIT
Winter brings out the fire-pit and the red wine, both enjoyed under the stars. A gas BBQ is also at hand for all season outdoor entertaining.
