"Hotel confused me for my sister who had a separate reservation. Even though I have platinum status she received the upgraded room. We had identified this at the time of checkin.
Service by hotel staff was way beyond expectations. We had two non hotel issues and hotel staff went out of their way to resolve. Can’t say enough about the staff.
Breakfast items were limited in types but items all were high quality so it balances out. "

"Hotel Azul is in the most historic part of downtown across from lovely Plaza de San Sebastián. If you tell a taxis driver “Plaza de San Sebastián,” that’s all they need to know. Not a lot of traffic on this street but taxis on streets above & below. We stayed 9 nights in this small modest hotel and loved it. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Everything downtown is in easy walking distance & there’s lots to see. First floor is one flight up, but luggage assistance is available. "

It was super clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast included freshly prepared fruit salad, fresh juice coffee/tea, scrambled egg and an assortment of bread. Perfect to kick off the day. "

"We adored our stay at Pepe’s! The room and bed (firm) were comfortable and to our liking. The location is *very* walkable to several squares, restaurants, shopping, and even a few great beer spots (two breweries and a Belgian spot). Alexandria and Estephanie were extremely accommodating and warm, we were very grateful for them. The breakfasts were big and delicious, and daily coffee nice and strong!
