"What a gem in Kona! My wife and I were evaluating our options between a large hotel or the Kona Tikki and we decided to stay at the Tikki. You get a great ocean front view that’s unbeatable and great value for money compared to larger hotels and what they charge for an “ocean view”.
There are no TV’s or Air Conditioning but it was just fine. There’s plenty of ocean breeze to keep you cool and the lack of tv is nice, it allows you to focus on the trip, your spouse/travel partner.

"The property and location were amazing! We had the best time! The buffet was a bit chaotic and the pool staff were incredible but understaffed. The only down side was the house keeping rarely came. We have a baby and so having the room cleaned and garbage taken out would have been helpful. We loved the location and will be back again! "

"The ocean view property we booked was very spacious and comfortable for a party of 4. The view was amazing. It was definitely the highlight of the property. Waking up to the view and being able to just take it all in at anytime of the day was well worth having an ocean view. The pool was very comfortable. It wasn’t too cold or too warm, just perfect. Not to mention that it wasn’t crowded at all times. Customer service at the front desk was excellent. All the workers were very friendly. Check in...

"Room was ideal for my wife and three daughters, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. Staff members were friendly, courteous and very professional. The resort is maintained well, it is very close to popular beaches and the downtown area. The ocean is literally in the back yard, the pool and hot tub are very nice. Great stay, highly recommended."

"Hotellet er beliggende tilbagetrukket fra trafikeret vej i rimelige rolige omgivelser. Man skal krydse vejen for at komme til havet. Umiddelbart overfor hotellet er der en lavastrand med fantastisk snorkel og surf muligheder.
Man bliver budt velkommen af indehaveren, som er utrolig gæstfri og hjælpsom. Jeg havde Seaview værelset, som dog ikke havde så meget havudsigt, medmindre man stod op i den ene ende af terrassen. Værelset var lydt, så man kunne høre børn og voksne tale i værelset ved siden...
