I had to get the key from the HiLo motel office because I never received a response from owner. The bed & bath linens appeared clean, and the beds were comfy. "We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. The path to the lake is great, and definitely more effort to walk back up than walking down. We stayed for 6 days and only...

"Beautiful home in a lower end neighborhood. Sort of sticks out amongst the locals. Walking our dogs down to the railroad tracks. We noticed quite a few homeless people. They were friendly, but it’s always heartbreaking to see people living out of their cars."

Comfortable beds open layout in the kitchen and living room, I actually slept better here than in my own bed and I can’t say that about anywhere else I’ve stayed. The deck was absolutely perfect with great views. The area is also perfect, store is close by with everything you need and you can rent any water equipment you need right there. "Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a quick getaway. Everyone loved it. The stairs are quite steep and narrow to the upstairs bedrooms which was a little challenging for some of our group. There also is not a bathroom on the same level as the lower level bedroom and you can only access it from outside, so that wasn't ideal for some of our group. But we made it work and overall it was a great stay."
