"Nice room. We had booked a mountain view and balcony which would have been excellent had the weather not been cold and misty (but the hotel cannot control the weather!). The view was of Mt Rushmore and we did get a glimpse of a profile of one of the Presidents.
We had dinner at the Bar and really enjoyed the Chicken Club Sandwich and Pulled Pork Sandwich."

"Fik et værelse i nederste etage. Udgang ud til parkeringskælder. Værelset lugtede ekstremt af parfume/luftrenser og så får man med det samme den tanke “hvilken lugt skal det skjule”. Ingen mulighed for udluftning pga beliggenheden.
Senge, badeværelse, rengøring mv var dog ok. Morgenmaden ikke med det store udvalg, men ok.
Indendørs pool ligger åbent ved receptionen, så hele etagen duftede af klor."

"My family and l Ioved getting a cabin so much that it will be peferred over a hotel in the future! It was nice to have a cook top so we could bring food and cook to cut down on costs, they also supplied some cookware and dishes. We were also only about 30 minutes from town so if we didnt feel like cooking it didnt take long to run and get something. With smaller children it was nice not having someone directly beside us. My kids loved that there was a fire pit so we could make smores and they...

"We stayed in the lodge/motel for two nights, which was a convenient location to Mount Rushmore. We also had dinner at the Powder House Lodge Restaurant and the food and service were great. The place had zero available tables and people waiting, so go early. "

"I have had bad experiences at a couple Comfort Inn stays, so I was a little leery, but booked after reading the reviews. And we were not disappointed. Hotel felt clean and well kept up and a great central location. We were also pleasantly surprised with the town of Hill City. We were visiting Mt Rushmore for the first time and just looking for a comfortable stay but fell in love with the area. Also the front desk lady who checked us in gave us a wonderful recommendation for a sweets shop...
