Boasting direct access to the mountain, Aspen East at Bryce Resort will suit all your needs whether you travel alone or are a family of four. (We have a blow up bed if you want to add 2 more guests, for a total of 6 people.)

THE AREA

Just a quick 2-hour drive away from the DC metro area, whether you are looking for a fun-filled adventure or just a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle, this property will enable you to truly customize your vacation. The luxury brand new mountain condo is located directly on the Bryce Resort mountain. Our warm cozy condo offers a brand new luxury feel nestled among the trees with completely updated modern accommodations.

THE CONDO

Just steps from the main Bryce Resort Lodge, this premium 640 square foot, studio

There is 1 level featuring 1 open concept bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The condo has an open concept kitchen with a dining area that fits up to 4 people at the table. There is a bedroom with a king bed and a queen pullout bed in the living room area. There is also a full bathroom and access to walk outside on the patio directly onto the ski/bike slopes.

The condo offers a mini split with central air conditioning and heating for maximum comfort in the summers and winters.

The new designer kitchen boasts quartz countertops, under cabinet lighting, slow-close cabinetry, high-end stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, and deep sink. Just step out the back door and you are brought outside to a mountainside panorama with views of the ski mountain during the winter months and fireworks from the resort during the summer. The stone fireplace is for decorative purposes only. Front and center is a mounted 70” Samsung LED smart TV that allows guests to use Wi-Fi to easily access a range of apps including Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and more since Cable TV is not provided. Other amenities include: Wi-Fi, Individually Zoned Climate Heating, Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring throughout the entire condo, Major Techology upgrades like a Bluetooth speaker and a backlit mirror that has a dimmable and anti-fog function, Premium Shower Heads, Full Washer and Dryer, High quality linens, quilts, pillows and throws, as well as a Keurig & 12-cup Coffee Pot (in one!).

Guests have Wi-Fi in case you can't step away from your work during your mountain retreat. Streaming apps are available on the televisions.

THE SURROUNDING AREA

A short walk will take guests to Bryce Resort where they will find the first tee of the golf course, mountain bike trails, the ski lifts, or the recreation area which offers a pro shop, hiking, private airport, and so much more. The Copper Kettle Bar & Lounge at the main lodge offers food and drinks 7 nights a week. Events at Bryce Resort are year-round and include: Craft Shows, Wine Festivals, Fireworks, Tough Mudders, Bike Bonanzas, Runs, Races, Dinners, and Cook-offs. Lake Laura is just 1 mile away and offers: Fishing, Swimming, Paddle Boating, Kayaking, Beach Front, and Hiking Trails.

Centrally located to more than 7 different wineries and vineyards including: Shenandoah, Centrally located to more than 7 different wineries and vineyards including: Shenandoah, Cave Ridge, Wolf Gap, Kindred Pointe, Muse, Wisteria, and Cedar Creek. Delicious breweries such as Woodstock Brewhouse, Bald Top, and Swover Creek are also in the area.

Easy day trips in all directions include: Multiple Cavern Tours (Shenandoah & Luray), Museums, War Memorials, National Parks, The Shenandoah River (Fly Fishing, Rafting, and Tubing), The Blue Ridge Mountains, Historic Sites, Orchards, Farms, Antique Shops, Shenandoah Music Festival Grounds, Route 11 Potato Chip Factory, Harrisonburg and James Madison University (just 40 minutes away!).

There is a grocery store (Food Lion) in Mt. Jackson by Interstate 81, which is about 15-20 min from the resort. Once in Basye, there is local convenience store/gas station that has a small selection of a bit of everything (basic grocery items, drinks, frozen pizzas, toiletries, etc). For lunch, make sure to stop by Pale Fire Brewery for an array of food and beers you won't find anywhere else! The resort has a "fast" restaurant in the Lodge. For dessert, make sure to stop by Smiley's Ice Cream stand, where you can also do a quick 18-hole mini golf course!
