This little bungalow made for perfect first-time visit to Mt. Dora. My husband and I came for the arts and craft show. The bungalow is very well located. Close to downtown, lake, restaurants - just about everything you want to do in Mt. Dora. The house was extremely clean and very well appointed. The owner, Talia, thought of everything one could possibly need. She was also extremely responsive to questions. I would highly recommend this property if visiting Mt. Dora.

This little house had everything we needed. The location was perfect and it was well appointed with many special touches that made you feel right at home. It was clean, had great parking and the bed was super comfortable. The town of Mt. Dora is adorable and we will definitely be back. Hosts were responsive and pleasant.

My husband and I loved this place. It is exactly the right size for 2 people and a fur baby. The neighborhood is great, I felt very safe walking my dog at night. Downtown is about 2 blocks away, which made it perfect walking distance. I highly recommend any property managed by Talia.

On our recent stay at The Nantucket, we found the location to be excellent, allowing us to park our car in the driveway and walk into town.However, we found The Nantucket too small for us. The tiny bathroom was impossible to dress in after a shower so we had to dress in the hallway as the bedroom was also too small to dress in. The bathroom had no place to put toiletries-perhaps a shelf above the toilet could be added for this purpose. Tissues could be placed on this shelf.Also, a strong musty odor greeted us at the door. The see-thru shades on the front windows gave us a lack of privacy at night, making watching TV or walking around in our pajamas uncomfortable as anyone walking or driving by could see clearly inside the living room. Also, the kitchen floor was gritty with sand, and there was only one teaspoon in the drawer. The request to wash any cups or utensils and strip the bed, and wash the bedding and towels was something I didn’t expect. We had paid 95 dollars for cleaning. I was hoping to away for three days from household chores while in Mt. Dora. I have never experienced this request in any of my travels in hotels, motels, and ARBNBs in the USA or Europe. I hope this review is useful to you. I know you can’t stretch the walls to make it bigger, but we would have enjoyed a little more space and privacy.

We loved this cute little cottage for a quick weekend in Mount Dora. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities we needed and was very comfortable. The location could not be more perfect, super close to all the best restaurants, the waterfront and shopping. We can’t wait to stay again!

The owners were so nice and helpful. There was an issue to with the lock (100% user error) and they helped get me get in and dropped a key.The furniture was comfortable and everything was super clean.The location was perfect. It was just about 2 blocks to the downtown area with the shops and restaurants. I can't say enough how nice it was that we did not have to search for parking!!

Perfect cozy place to stay. Had everything needed to enjoy a weekend of biking in beautiful mount dora. Listing is exactly as shown. Was welcomed with a nice bottle of wine. Enjoyed complimentary coffee and appreciated toiletries and even provided melatonin gummies if needed. Will definitely rent again for next year bike fest. Such an easy stroll to downtown and 1/2 block to pickleball courts :).

Excellent location! Just a few short steps to the middle of shops and restaurants. The cottage is exactly as advertised. Extremely clean and very tastefully decorated. Nice touches like quality bath towels, snacks, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet despite being so close to all the shopping. Will definitely stay here again! Talia and Gabbi are excellent VRBO hostesses.

Beautiful, quaint bungalow located within walking distance of the unique Mt. Dora historic district. Just right for a couple. Delightful sisters, Talia and Gabi, are the absolute best owners/hosts. Attentive to every need. Would definitely rent again and will also check out their larger rentals.
