"I had stopped over on a long drive during a bad rain storm and was a bit frazzled when I arrived. The front desk evening shift person was so warm and welcoming and even helped me find parking when the lot was full. It made a big difference to have someone friendly. When I got to the room, it was large and the bed was very comfortable and had a kitchenette. It was a great stay and I highly recommend it."

"As non-gamblers, we can't comment on the gambling aspect, but the hotel and rooms themselves were clean and it offered more than your average hotel. We did have a blood stain on our sheets and they offered to move us to a different room, but we chose to get different sheets instead.
Free coffee in the morning, but no free breakfast.
Free parking, felt safe leaving the car in the parking lot, even in that community.
I would not recommend walking around the area, as Wheeling Island is run-down,...
