Perfect Family GetawayLike to start by thanking Jayne & Wayne for sharing their beautiful cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee with us! We were greeted with a "welcome basket" of homemade goodies from a local farm, and an extensive listing of places to visit, restaurants, things to do in the area. We enjoyed the privacy and proximity to all the fun things the lake and area has to offer. The cottage was exactly as described! Vacationed in other places listing things they did not have. Not here! Clean and very comfortable. We loved the convenience of the dock and the use of the rowboat and paddle boat for fishing, plenty of fish to catch. We caught 58! Not to mention the amazing sunsets, the loons, and bald eagles we saw. The screened porch was a big hit with the family, dining and just relaxing… Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful lakeside cottage and being so welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed our conversation with you Jayne when we were heading out. Best

The house was exactly as listed. The beach was great for the little kids to play with. Sandy waterfront access. The dock was accommodating easily fitting 2 larger boats. The house was conveniently located to town. Great host, looking forward to 2025

We have stayed here before and this year was just as excellent as last year! There's a lot of privacy, great owners, and close proximity to all the fun the lake has to offer :) just a few minutes to Meredith and about a half hour to Weirs beach, a great house in a great location. Very peaceful.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The location on the lake is amazing - water perfect for swimming and sandy beach area great for lounging. The home is well equipped and comfortable. We most enjoyed the screened in porch for dining and relaxing. The owners are readily accessible for any questions that may arise. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We loved the convenience of the dock for our boat and the kids loved the beautiful sandy beach. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat that we also took out on the water and to the water trampoline and slide. This was our first time staying on the northern side of the lake. We saw a ton of wildlife including loons, plenty of fish, and a bald eagle. Jayne was very helpful with directions for us coming in on the water with our boat. There are rocks in the area, but the owners did a fabulous job marking them with floating fake ducks. There is also new carpet in the family room and a coin washer/dryer that is not reflected in the pictures. The washer and dryer were really nice to have-Don’t forget to bring your quarters!

The lake front property was perfect! It offers lake activities along with a private backyard and a firepit. Beautiful location with a screened in porch. The owners were nice and and accommodating.

Cute cottage right on the lake. Amazing sunsets, very quiet. Home was as pictured. We loved the area, enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to New Hampshire we would definitely book again!

Our family had an awesome time from start to finish. Jayne and Wayne were awesome to work with and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Our kids (8 and 5) spent days playing in the sand on the quaint and tidy beach; playing catch, bocce, bags, wiffle ball, and paddle ball in the yard; and we all spent a ton of time in the kayaks, canoe, and (especially) the row boat which we used daily for our fishing excursions (perch, sunnies, rock bass, and one awesome largemouth). We used the grill daily and had a few fires in the fire pit which came supplied with wood and supplies. The cabin was just what we needed with plenty of room for us to sleep, put together puzzles, play board games, and read books. Lots of time spent on the spacious screened-in porch. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We plan to come back again next year. Wonderful experience overall.

We loved our stay here, the property was perfect, the area had good places to eat and plenty to do, and the host was very helpful with any questions we had and as a guide for what to do in the area. You can't beat staying here - right on this beautiful lake!

Our family had the opportunity to stay twice at Swallowpoint Cottage this summer. Our second stay was equally as great as the first. One thing I didn't mention in my first review that is worthy of noting is that the owners of the property seem to really care that you feel comfortable and have an enjoyable time. Both times we were greeted with a "welcome basket" of homemade goodies and an extensive listing of places to visit, restaurants, things to do in the area. They were so welcoming and friendly to us and our 2 young children. Counting down the days until our stay next summer :)

Cozy, clean cottage with the best yard and sandy waterfront - especially for our 2 young children. Quiet area, beautiful view and sunsets. Jayne & Wayne are friendly, helpful, and responsive. We can't wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed our week on lake Winnipesaukee! Jayne and Wayne have a beautiful property and a very clean house! It was just my husband, I and our son but there was plenty more than enough room to sleep and have 9 people stay! Our son loved the fact that he could run out to the beach and play in the sand! We caught all kinds of fish through the week! Many local attractions were not open through the week but, we went to Clark's Bears, Castle in the Clouds, and Story Land. What a peaceful and quiet week! If we return to Lake Winnipesaukee in the next few years we will rent right from Jayne and Wayne again!

The house is really well cared for, and in a great location! The waterfront is sandy, which is a super plus. Really friendly owners. The house has plenty of space and plenty of parking. Also pretty close to attractions(within a half hour of most things you'll need/want)

Great clean cabin on the lake. Great for fishing trips or just a family getaway. Water access. Owners are great and very helpful. Jane made us delicious brownies upon arrival and Wayne even helped us repair a flat on the boat trailer, lending us tools and advice. Not a bad thing to say..........this was our second time back and plan on returning again.... 5 Stars!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay!! The pros: super comfy beds, great beach perfect for young children, great fire pit for toasting marshmallows, awesome dock, great lawn area for outdoor activities The cons: We thought I’d was a little overpriced for what you get, not a lot of room in the cabinets for food and things. The kitchen could use some updating, the fridge was leaking a little. The bathroom door was hard to close and was very loud, which is tough when you have a sleeping baby. It was a great vacation though, the owners are nice! I would recommend this place to a small family but I think more than 5-6 people is too many.

The Lakehouse was amazing! The views were great, The sand beach was perfect for our two-year-old daughter building Sandcastle’s, great dock for Fishing!!!. The cottage was extremely clean, which was very important to us because we had a three week old infant. Jayne was respectful of our distance considering COVID-19 And take every precaution possible. Such a great host, she even gave us a ride to the rental car place when we had car trouble‘s on our checkout date. Couldn’t recommend this place more

We had a fabulous week! The house was more than we expected, bedrooms were bigger than they looked in pictures and lots of updating had been done. The kitchen was not pictured in listing but it was great. Every appliance you could want and very well stocked with all the basics. There was plenty of space for our group (4 adults and 3 older teenagers). Family room was very comfortable and had beautiful views. The screened porch was large, a great space for us all to eat together and play card/board games. Lots of comfortable seating throughout the home, nice for unwinding after a long day on the water. We are pretty active so most of our time was spent outside. The yard was awesome for yard games like cornhole, spikeball, and some other big area games. It was also great having a firepit with open view of the lake. Owners even provided firewood for the first night, marshmallow sticks, and a start up supply for making smores!! The beach was clean and water crystal clear. We rented a 25ft pontoon for the week and had no trouble docking. The location on the lake is great for boating, quiet cove with super easy access to big lake. Short ride to Braun Bay sandbar, and centrally located between Wolfboro, Meredith and Alton Bay. The check in and check out process was super easy. The owners live next door and could not be nicer. Jayne met us for check in showed up around and let us know she was available for anything we needed. We actually didn't see them again till check out since we didn't need anything and the lot is very private but it was nice knowing they were there. We have rented several different vacation homes but have never found one we have enjoyed this much or wanted to return to. This is the one... we will be back next year for sure!
