"Arkle House is a bungalow which has everything we look for in a relaxing holiday let. Comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, a garden, and a well equipped kitchen. The decor completes a perfect home. The property is in a good situation with the high street about 20 minutes walk. Great for dogs. To sum up ….we found it to be perfect and are already planning our third visit."

"Very pleasant stay. Minor annoyance was strict check on time between 5 and 6 to allow for full clean. Would not class as full clean as bin had dirty tissues in it and cutlery/some kitchen ware needed washing before use"

"It was not the best looking area so understand why no pictures of the exterior, it was a quiet area though and very close to amenities.Interior thought was good. The main issue was the floor in the bathroom, the floor is lifting and uneven, we also had a problem getting the shower to work, the “thingy” that you pull up to divert the water from tap to shower was really hard. Lastly 6 bags of garden rubbish appeared in the front garden yesterday. ?? Were from but a bit concerning. Instructions on...

"The property was great with lots of extras,very clean everything you could want. The only little thing was sofas very uncomfortable,but as the weather was good not in much. Lots of places to visit kept us busy for the week."

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Warm comfortable house. Everything one needs for a short stay. As we had been before we knew to take a mat for the shower as it is over a bath. The online details are a bit lacking . Last year I had to contact the owner to check if there was a separate shower . The house is so convenient for Amble harbour. We hope to return."

"For a family holiday the property was perfect. Great size lounge, plenty of floor space for the 3 youngsters to pay in. Lovely big table for all the family to sir down together. 3 bathrooms was a big bonus with 7 of us being there. One thing i would suggest would be a few hooks on back of bedroom and bathroom doors. Fantastic stay and great holiday."

"Not at at all the property portrayed on the Internet. A few good features, but mainly tired and in need of renovation. Awful location...late night disturbances outside property late at night. Would never return to this property again. I would expect a response from Vrbo!"

"The property was in good area, close to Main Street and marina. The property was let down by 1- the shower. Dangerous, either boiling hot or cold, no happy medium. 2- Front door sticking and difficult to open. 3-TV reception made it impossible to watch."
