"have had a fantastic stay for one week. Pubs, restaurants, supermarket, harbour and beech are all in walking distance. Everything needed is in the cottage. Equipment a bit old but all worked good.We really can recommend the cottage.Diane is very friendly and helpful "

"The house is spotless and cosy. Everything you needed is in the house. Lots of shops nearby. The host is very helpful and response quickly if you have questions. "

"As soon as we walked into Arkle House we were impressed. The bunaglow was immaculate, and exactly as described. The welcome basket was a lovely treat, and the garden was perfect for us. Amble is a beautiful area, and buses are regular.We had much longer journey (from Kent) than we realised, but is was more than worth it!"

"Lovely stay in Amble at Jo’s property. The house was fab much bigger than it looks and great distance to lovely walks along the shore and round harbour and marina .Easy parking at house . Lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A great base to see more of the area too. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend"

"The Lilac Cottage is a beautiful, pristine,cleverly decorated home with a lovely garden. Comfortable beds, lots of books, washer/dryer, clothes drying rack and every appliance has a manual or instructions how to use it. 2 full bathrooms allowed our family of 4 to get ready quickly. The Millennium Garden is right next door. So peaceful. Convenient location, walk to everything."

"Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on."

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Really nice house easily walkable to Newcastle. We stayed on our walk of the Hadrian's wall path and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Thank you!"
