Although this home feels completely private, it’s conveniently located just five minutes from the shops, cafes, and restaurants of Yucca Valley, and a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park.

You’ll also have use of the outdoor patio, the unique 3.5 ft plunge pond, and parking for 3–4 cars right in front of the home. Storage areas and a hall closet are also available for convenience.

* Air Travel: Palm Springs International Airport is about a 35–40 minute drive, making arrivals and departures smooth. Los Angeles airports are also within reach for longer trips (about 2 hours).

* Ride Shares: Uber and Lyft are available in the area, but because the home is in a quieter desert community, wait times may be longer compared to bigger cities.

* Public Transit: There’s no reliable bus or train system nearby, so plan on driving for the most flexibility.

* Walking & Biking: The neighborhood itself is quiet and scenic, but not walkable to shops, restaurants, or attractions. For exploring the desert, hiking trails and nature preserves are just a short drive away.

* Parking: Onsite parking is simple, with space for 3–4 cars right out front.



A car will give you the freedom to easily reach grocery stores, restaurants, trailheads, and attractions in the high desert while still enjoying the peaceful privacy of your retreat.



Other Things to Note:

* The plunge pond is 3.5 ft deep and requires occasional manual refilling; if not in use, it may be kept off for safety.

* Please use caution when turning off Highway 62 into the property, as there is no exit lane.

* Access is via a private, single-lane road that is steep. Bumpy dirt road takes you from the highway to this house.

* A storage shed is available for guest use if needed.

* There is no central AC. There are mini-splits throughout the home.
